The mansion is beautiful, the climate is divine, but the kitchen is poor.

We had low expectations but somehow the reality was even worse. We ordered off the lunch prix fixe menu, which is less of a deal than it looks.Out of our entire lunch, only the bread was good--the salads were bad, 'branzino' (not branzino) was overcooked, and the filet mignon was also not well-executed. (The burrata was fine, but the accompanying greens and tomatoes were pretty subpar.) Dessert was pretty horrendous--the "strawberry shortcake" was a few slices of strawberries topped with whipped cream, and the brownie definitely came out of plastic packaging. The entire effect is somewhere between Sysco Foods and bad airline food. The space itself is remarkable (where else can you walk past the site of a murder and dine in the victim's home), but the restaurant is pretty overrun with tourists and sugar babies. The service was fine, but the front of house is as indifferent as the kitchen. It was our worst experience in Miami.

Save yourself the time, aggravation, and disappointment and skip this one.We had a 7:45 reservation and walk in around 7:40 to check in. We were told to step aside and our table would be ready. After about 20 minutes of waiting my husband went to check and the hostess was very rude and told him he would need to continue waiting. Why take reservations if we aren't going to be sat at that time? And to wait over 30 minutes for a table with a reservation is insane. We are eventually seated and wait over 15 minutes for our waiter to approach us. My husband was ready to walk out but I convinced him to give it a few more minutes, I wish I hadn't.We order dinner and drinks. The drinks came fairly quickly and they were the most flavorful thing either of us had.Next our food. I got the Cacio e pepe and my husband got the filet. For something served in a cheese wheel, this was maybe the most bland food I have ever had. The Olive Garden has more flavor in their pasta than this. My husband's steak was also bland and not cooked to his preferred medium rare. All in all for over $200 this place is definitely not worth it and you will find much better food else in the area.Yes, it's beautiful and worth seeing but not for the price.

I came here 3 years ago and I wear hijab. This is the first time I felt such rude behavior since I first entered this restaurant. I don't understand if this is how people who don't eat are treated. I also ate salad and dessert.

A horrible disappointment. People are coming dresses like hobo joggers. Waiting is 45 min over reservation time. No order… unfortunately, this is just a cheap touristic place, nothing more. Definitely not worth it

Service was ok, taste of food was good, took a long time to get our food and it was brought out cold. This is a one time deal. They would not even split our bill.

The cozy and luxury place with a professional service. This villa has a good decoration that you can take a picture at any corner. We had a warm dinner with our family and friends for the first time visit Miami. The location is good for walking along the beach and enjoy the windy from sea, cool atmosphere.

Celebrated my fiancé's birthday and our server Paolo was excellent. His level of attention and service was 5 star and made our experience extra special. We sat poolside (we were also staying at the hotel) and the atmosphere is just magical. We enjoyed our meals - Chilean sea bass and the scallops and cacio e pepe + cocktails (Passion at the Mansion ????). Both were cooked perfectly. We had to have dessert as we were celebrating and it was delicious and a show stopper.Highly recommend!

Very pleasant place, delicious cuisine and sublime setting. Too bad the hostess (evening service) was not pleasant and rather haughty.
