I liked it very much, very much. As for Chinese cuisine, the dishes are surprising, tasty and, most importantly, you can eat enough,) for Chinese cuisine, this is a short restaurant menu.

This was a love hate relationship. I loved the service and experience but the food was absolute garbage. We ordered 6 different plates and none of them were good. Crispy Beef was missing the beef and was more like tempura straws with no flavor, spicy beef was overcooked and the sauce tasted burnt, the duck was so overcooked it was dry and chewy, fried rice was oily and soggy. The two good dishes we had were the lobster shumai and veggies. Was over $500 for 3 of us and for the quality of the food it should have been under a hundred.

The service and atmosphere is impeccable. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The food was a 3/5. Definitely not worth the price. My husband I a rated the following: Lobster dumplings 4/5. Fried rice. 3.5/5. Sweet and sour chicken 3.5/5. Chicken satay 2/5. Least favorite dish…the chicken satay was not the usual Asian style. It was weirdly breaded….5/5 is their homemade hot sauce and pistachio cake for dessert. Absolutely delicious.

Service here is unmatched. Multiple waitstaff seat you, pull out your chairs, place napkins on your lap, just taking great care from the moment you walk in. Waters never went dry and waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations. I went to the bathroom and came back and everyone greeted and smiled at me, pulled out my chair again, etc. The food was also excellent as always. This is one of my top favorite spots in Miami. 100% recommend

I have been a Mr Chow lover since I was a kid literal 40 years ago.,I still remember just driving from San Diego to Beverly Hills with my parents just to eat there. But this time I felt I got ripped off,I had dinner with emy daughter at the Miami locating we ate 4 appetizers and one main course that it was a fried noodles with vegetables kids size and the price of the pasta was 50 Dlls the overall was 240 no drinks only mineral water plus the recommended service of 20%. This is just not the place I will want to go back. I love their food and service but there cost is just not fair at all. Think twice before going!!

The restaurant is sooo beautiful, the staff warm and friendly. The food was much better than in the past. Unfortunately, the music was two levels too loud. But we will definitely return with other friends. We have been going to Mr. Chows all over the world for years. We are thrilled to be back at the Miami Beach restaurant. Candy & Freddy DeMann

DO NOT GO. We went there as we stayed at the W and had good memories of Mr Chow but we were massively disappointed. The food is extremely bad and has nothing to do with real Chinese food - it’s bland, tasteless and simply disgusting. On top of it, the prices are outrageous. But to be clear, I wouldn’t eat there again even if it was free.

DO NOT GO HERE!! This is the most absurdly overpriced and disgusting food I’ve ever had. The portion sizes are ridiculously tiny and the prices are insane for food that tastes horrible. I’m embarrassed to have even eaten here because it is an absolute disgrace to the restaurant industry. I’m blown away by how this place even exists. It should be shut down and does not deserve any stars.

Mr Chow Miami is always a must when I'm in town, whether I'm by myself or with a company. Reason I always come back- great food, amazing staff, I always feel welcome when people recognize me and tell me welcome back upon my arrival.

If what you want is theater when you go out to eat and food is secondary, Mr Chow is your place. You will enjoy the gong that signals the hand-made noodle presentation; you will enjoy all the servers rushing to and fro, pushing carts with Bejing Chicken under domes and carrying trays above their heads; and that it takes three people to serve a tray of food. In fact, there are a lot of servers but little actual service! The food is stunningly expensive, yet no better than your corner Chinese restaurant. There is a maxim that if you want to tell if a Chinese restaurant is good, see how many Chinese people are actually dining there. You don't have to worry about that because there was not a Chinese diner in sight. Nor were there any black diners until two nice looking black men with two white women took the table next to us. They looked to us as if they might be football players, which would make sense because then they could surely afford the sky-high prices. Just before they arrived there was a heated discussion between two diners and the maître d' over the small portions relative to the high prices. If you want dinner to be like eating at your club, eat there.

Aaaaaa

Just very average Chinese food for a very above average price. We ordered the Beijing Duck and I was excited to try all of the apps, mains and the duck served family style. But everything was just average and not memorable in any way. For $700 for 3 people - not including the wine it was just very underwhelming - lots of better places to spend that kind of money on Miami Beach.

Disgusting. What this place serves cannot be called food. It's all over fried, deep fried and flat flavors. The food is not edible at all. The previous time I was at Mr Chows was 15 years ago in Tribeca. That was a good experience. What this place has become is a scam thanks to their ridiculous prices for not food.

So, we went here tonight because we were exhausted, and chose not to leave the hotel. I was surprised to see the white tablecloths and the white coated waiters when we entered. All the servers we passed welcomed us. We chose to sit outside as the weather is beautiful. The private booths (with white curtains & canopies is definitely the way to go. Inside was beautiful, but we were happy outside.) Our server and his many assistants (the bring the food, clear the table, check on us etc) were wonderful. The service was top notch, even outside. We chose 2 appetizers and 2 entrees per the waiter's recommendation (they serve family style, but it was just my husband and I). We chose: 1. Salt and pepper shrimp- this was fried with shells on (no heads). This is normally fried with shells, but these had a batter on them that was a bit heavy. Not my favorite (and I LOVE salt& pepper orawns) 2. Lobster shumai- these were wonderful. I'm don't normally like shumai (it's a mouth feel thing), but my husband always gets it. These were wonderful with a big chunk of lobster wrapped in the most delicate, thin noodle. I loved them. (So did hubby) 3. Nine seasons prawns - these were fried, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. We wouldn't have ordered them (after salt& pepper fried prawns) had we known. They were served with bamboo on the side. The flavor was good, if sweet. 4. Sea bass- was fantastic! We got 4 thick pieces of fish cooked PERFECTLY. We think it was in a ponzu ginger sauce which was so flavorful, and not too salty. Definitely order this! Fried rice- very light with mini shrimp and a few soybeans. Bland, but a good foil for the food. Mixed veggies- bok choy, snow pea pods, cauliflower and mushrooms. Bland, but good and perfect for the food. Service was great and our 2 non- fried dishes alone were worth the visit. Oh, bonus! They made me a ginger martini (not on the menu) and it was so good!
