All other tables he was chatty with but for some reason it’s like he really didn’t like us which I can’t quite understand as we weren’t demanding and just ordered off the main menu. As I mentioned the food was nice but wouldn’t return based on the service which I am angry we tiooed

I travel for work often and this is always one of my favorite spots in the area for a really good and really reasonable meal. The butter lobster roll (omg) and the crispy himachi are 10/10. Evette is also my favorite waitress in the world. She always has the best energy and is so kind.
Pubbelly Sushi Miami Beach is located in a great area in Miami. Upon arriving, we were seated outside immediately. The outdoor seating was intimate and pretty quiet. We reviewed the menu and found items that we were interested in and when the server arrived we were ready to order. When the server arrived he asked if it were our first time visiting Pubbelly. We replied that it was. The server then went into a long list of his recommendations, many of which we were not interested in and did not ask for his recommendations. The server insisted that the items he recommended were the best items on the menu. In an effort to be friendly to the server we decided to go with a few of his recommendations. The food was brought shortly after, and everything was delicious except the items he has suggested. We requested that the items be taken away immediately and that the menus were returned to us so that we could select the items were originally wanted. The manager visited the table and apologized for the items and did a great job with bringing resolution to the table. Unfortunately, the server appeared upset that we did not like the items he recommended. He became quiet and dismissive. It was obvious that the service went down from there. The server did not check on the table and the manager appeared to have taken over in the server's absence. I was disappointed that the restaurant added an automatic gratuity to the bill when the service was not great. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that is familiar with quality service, as you will be let down. Food was good.

we showed up on a Tuesday - 3/4 of the restaurant had empty tables. when we showed up, the host had an attitude with us and said he would seat us in fifteen minutes despite the restaurant being nearly empty. of course, that's fine-- we understand there's a lot going on behind the scenes in a restaurant which might make them busy than appear but what had appalled us was the host asked in an attitude "why are you looking at me like that?" not only was that something we've never heard from someone as we are generally very understanding and happy people, but in a professional environment from someone, we were shocked. im sure the food is good but we didn't stay to any longer. we will never be coming back because of the service.

Went tonight to Pubbelly in sunset harbour. The food was fantastic, the service and quick and the manager is very friendly! Always going back! Get the two timing tuna roll and enjoy the rodeo on the TV!

The pacing was too fast. Everything was decent but was not made to order, tasted and looked premade and the pacing reflected that. Our waiter was very nice and my cabernet was good but food came way too fast. Liked the buns the best.

The food here is incredible. Notably, the dumplings, yakitori chicken skewer & grilled octopus were table favourites. We ordered dumplings, spicy tuna roll, buffalo tempura rock shrimp, kimchi fried rice with chicken, grilled octopus, yakitori skewer and mochi. Highly recommend!

It was ok. Service was confusing at start but got better along the evening.Anyhow, the menu does not really have a variety which makes it difficult to choose. I find the place to be quite overpriced for what it is.$12 for a beer and most of sushi were $18 plus. The place is ok.Kudos to the second guy in charge, am able and wanted to make things right. Main manager seemed stressed out.
