The food here is generally good, but I don't think that the very high prices match the quality. Additionally, all three servers we interacted with (all of the servers working in the restaurant that evening) had very bad attitudes, which makes me think that the management is probably bad. (In particular, the older waiter who sat outside the entrance smoking and letting his cigarette smoke come into the small restaurant was remarkably rude and sarcastic.) I would give four stars for the food, but the service is bad enough to warrant at least one less star.Dietary restrictions: The staff seemed not very happy to have questions about gluten-free menu options.

I have no idea how this restaurant gets so many good reviews. The atmosphere is great but the food isn't so good. The choice on the menu is so little. I was sick after eating there. By the way, I am French so i know what I am talking about plus I worked for so many years in a French restaurant in NYC where singers, actors and the Kennedy's were coming to eat!!!

The deco of this restaurant transports you to a cosy French Colonial style in North Africa. Indeed it is a Moroccan French restaurant. The food is good even if the menu is short and lacks a little bit of vegetables. The baked camembert is a delight, the salads as well. Most dishes are good and well prepared and the wine list very decent, making it a very enjoyable place for a date or diner with your loved one. The patio behind is also a nice place to know about since the huge trees that shade the place make it pleasurable year round and particularly when the weather is hot and humid.

Lovely place!! You come in and immediately, you feel like it’s another world!! This place is perfect for a date, the food is good and we had a great time with Charlotte, the waitress who took care of us, I recommend.

Nice fusion resturant. Great decor inside. I think there is a back patio. They have a pretty broad menu. I’m not sure why people give it a 4/5 I think because it’s a little expensive. But it’s also artisan quality. If you are looking for something different give it a shot. Good wine selectionDine in: Yes

A little slice of Paris in Miami. In full confession I had not been here in years but remember having a great experience and a beautiful courtyard. When you walk in greeted by piano, perfect set bar with a Chello. Wood bar with retro ceiling tiles lots of little fixtures. Tasteful decor and even a classic movie Casablanca projected on the wall. Attention to detail exquisite. Rest rooms are impeccable. And then comes the food. I was talking to the chef and proprietor Nabil, he recommended the lamb shank.I am at a loss of words how good the food was. It lived up to expectations and far exceeded them. The lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and just fell right off the bone. Clearly well marinated, it was on this gravy of potato and olives. To sum it up I can say that not only has he created a slice of Paris in Miami but probably one of the best slices you can find. It's one of those places which will stick in your mind and heart for years to come and probably should be rated as one of the very best hidden gems in Miami.

First off the good the ambiance is beautiful but there was a patio on Google it is no longer there. It was my sister's birthday and they gave her a cake and sang for her. My lychee martini was good. The people with me said their food was good. Keep in mind that this is my first and last time having French food. The portions were small(which I'm told is very french)didn't like that. I got the duck and it was super rare. It gave my mouth a workout! I hate that! I like my meat falling off the bone tender. I Gave away most of my meat. Then we wanted to spilt the bill and the waitress didn't know how. She was loud she was rude and it was attention we did not appreciate. Bottom line the ambiance is nice, the music is nice, if you're on a diet this place is perfect for you! And they were playing old movies which i loved but nah its not for me

Our second time being here and it was a bit of a let down . I had the steak tartare last time and now it was not available which was a reason alone to come here besides killer martinis . The foie Gras was delicious but my steak had no char like my dates duck which she likes a crisp finish. The pistachio dessert was fantastic. Service is one person making drinks taking orders and checking on you which was great ! By the way the piano player is super good on the ivory's and adds to the restaurant ambiance!!

I'm honestly very surprised that this place does not have a higher rating. I used to live down the street and I'd visit Rouge rather frequently. I have seriously never been disappointed with any item/dish on the menu. It's true to its French style and the flavors are outstanding. I would go as far as to say that I've had some of my best dinners at this restaurant. It's small and unassuming on the outside but then you walk in and you forget where you are, you're sort of transported to a different place/time. It's easy to lose yourself in the experience and in conversation which makes this a stellar date spot. My only qualm would be that they removed the chocolate cake from their menu...obviously I don't hold that against them lol I used to always end my meal with a shared slice of that and a glass of fernet. That said, this place hits all the marks. I understand it's not cheap and the portions aren't huge but frankly I didn't mind that, at the end of it all I was satisfied with the amount and quality of what I'd consumed and I felt like what I paid was justified in my experience. I don't see it as a price per dish situation, but rather like you're paying for the experience as a whole. I've spent just as much or more at other restaurants and it still didn't afford me the experience that I can count on Rouge to provide every time. Keep it up guys! Can't wait to be back!

Amazing, how can I possibly describe this restaurant. The decor and ambiance is like stepping back in time. And Food......... Filet Mignon Au Poivre was spectacular. But the lamb shank, was on a different realm. Parking was terrible. So walk, crawl, or Uber . I will do any of the above to come and eat at Rouge. Thank you for a fabulous evening. See you in January.

This is a restaurant which is marketed as Moroccan and for the life of me I cannot see why. It is French unashamedly and it is bloody good. The food is interesting, Simply prepared and very tasty indeed - it is a clever menu and I was told changes quite often - So to a degree you must not rely on what you read on the web but better to check with Restaurant directly. For example there was no bouillabaisse When we went. However there many other dishes which were delightful. I had a lemon rosemary chicken with salad. This was actually a whole poussin and very lovely. Maybe I was mistaken but I did not see anything Moroccan about the place - in my view, not a loss. I am happy with pure French style and it was that. Staff are attentive and charming. Would love to go back.

What a hidden gem! It took me out of miami and into a beautiful bistro in France or Morocco. The staff were very pleasant and caring. Not obnoxiously, excuse me, French. They were so warm. The food as outstanding!!!!!! The piano player added an ambiance that was amazing! Go to be taken into a romantic tradition of fine dining. TheWineCollectors

Best date night out or a night out with a friend. We stumbled upon place. Ordered duck and lamb, both were excellent. Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had.
