I went here yesterday. I got the chicken kebab. For some info, a chicken kebab is supposed to be made of chicken breast, but these guys made it out of chicken thigh! We also ordered the "Rib Shish Roll." It was lamb and it was surrounded by its fat, which is a fine idea, but it was not executed correctly. When I unrolled it, there was almost no meat on it. Disgusting. I know good Turkish food when I eat it. This was not good food, whatever it was. The service was decent, but the food was extremely expensive. The quality of the food was also very cheap. I sat outside, and it looked nice, but the music was very loud and it was the same music on repeat over and over again. Overall, 1 Star.

We came to have dinner and the food was amazing, and the service was wonderful.I am not leaving 5 stars because both bartenders were drinking alcohol from the same shakers that they use to make restaurant drinks. I found it to be a huge hygiene and sanitation issue. Needless to say I would never have a drink at this restaurant, which is disappointing, because everything else is impeccable and I was looking forward to it.

I must express my gratitude without delving into specifics about the exceptional quality of the food. As a Turkish chef residing in the United States for many years, I have sampled numerous Turkish establishments in Miami and Hollywood. However, none have met the standards of authentic Turkish cuisine until I discovered this hidden gem. Finally, I have found a place where my palate is truly satisfied with the flavors of home.

This place was recommended to me by my friend. I was alone . Server met me at the door and invited to seat . Another server ( girl with blonde hair) came to me without smile and said : “You can’t seat here because you are alone “?. Then my server came and said something to her and she left. Then , I said I’m ready to order the food. I ask : “what is Skewer Shish” , and my server didn’t answer on my question start recommended his favorite food. ? Then I asked the tea ☕️ and when I finished my tea server just took it didn’t ask about more tea or whatever… I called him and ask one more tea . Honestly. I’m your guest . And servers have to understand that. Service have to be better . Food was good , but when I ask any sauce for the meat they look at me like I’m crazy and give me ketchup and hot sauce. Thank you , but I don’t want to eat here again .

Not ready for prime time. Entrees served 30 minutes apart, one of them with spoiled lamb. Nice people, but…

We visited here during our Miami vacation. I paid $13 for 1 lahmacun and it was moderate. Adana kabab was also moderate almost $30. Service and atmosphere was exceptional. When you recieve your check they automatically charge 18% service fee however they are still asking you for tip :) I would not go

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sumak, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff. The ambiance was inviting, with tasteful decor that transported me to the heart of Turkey. Now, let's talk about the food - it was truly exceptional. The tripe soup was a revelation, bursting with flavor and served piping hot. The lahmacun was another standout, perfectly crisp and topped with flavorful ingredients. And the mezze section? Don't even get me started - I tried almost everything, and each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. But beyond the delicious food, what really sets Sumak apart is the authenticity of the experience. It's clear that the chefs take pride in crafting traditional Turkish dishes with care and precision. And the staff? They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.Overall, Sumak is a gem of a restaurant that deserves all the praise it receives. Whether you're craving authentic Turkish cuisine or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Finally a Turkish restaurant that hits the mark. The menu is extensive (though I wish they included more vegetarian entrees), the kebabs are well cooked and portioned, the lahmacun is thin and crispy like it should be, and the desserts were very tasty. Ordered several cold mezes which were all good but slightly small portions. The service was warm and friendly. Hard to believe they opened just a month ago. Will definitely go back to try more dishes.

Sumak is a true delight for Turkish cuisine enthusiasts! The ambiance effortlessly blends tradition and modernity, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Adana Kebap was a masterpiece. The attentive and knowledgeable staff added to the overall positive experience, especially Yigit was amazing! Don't miss the Baklava – a sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Sumak is a must-visit for an authentic dining adventure in Miami!
