The Forge is one of those few authentic places in Miami. From the time you step into the restaurant, you are transported back in time. It is easy to see why Frank Sinatra, Al Capone, Marilyn Monroe, Kennedy, MJ and many others picked this place as their go-to Miami restaurant. I highly recommend the tour as it gives you an insight into what made this place so special. From the escape routes, to the wine room, to the crystal wall, this place is unapologetically authentic.

When my husband left me for another lady I was so hurt and I used to cry every day. Whenever I could miss him I could just close my bedroom and cry because I never wanted my kids to see me crying. It was tough times to endure the stress and at work, I could not perform well being a nurse I work with on many people but I could be moody and could even lose tempers for small things my colleagues complained and I signed many warnings before the matron.
Went there beggining of last year. Servers were knowledgeable and their spiel was quite entertaining. The place is full of history and their wine cellar had over 100k wines. Their vip room was gorgeous with a massive teak table. Their famous "super steak" was over priced but their bronzino is quite good. The best thing is the chocolate souffle.

I read it is permanently closed. Years ago, the steaks were divine, as were the French onion soups, and hearts of palm salad. The drinks and wine were great! We used to dance there. So fun!!!

Long overdue for an update to my review. I come back very often to get drinks and soufflé at the bar. Bartenders are always professional and courteous, soufflé never fails, drinks made the way I like it. Just these factors alone is enough for an added star from my recent review
