Liver and grits, it wasn't the best I've tasted in the past.***Update*** Gave it a try again on 5/15/21. Family from out of town visiting, lived here before wanted to try the liver and grits breakfast. It was even worsted than a year ago. The gravy was grease horrible but the other breakfast ordered was ok. Tried the peach cobbler it was delicious. Changed rating from 3 to 2 stars. Threw it away liver and grits away before taking a photo. Drive thru service was pleasant as always.

This is the second worst experience at this establishment and my last. First experience the drive through order section was not working and it took an hour to finally get my meal. However this time I saw one person and gave them the benefit of a doubt, yet again I waited for 45 minutes.I was not willing to wait any longer and ended up leavening empty handed. Never again !

So I went there for the first time in a long time to grab some breakfast (fried pork chop, grits & eggs) and it literally just wasn’t good.. The meat seemed cheap/fatty and wasn’t crispy at all, and I remember feeling like I wasted my money after I finished especially because of the price increase.. It’s funny that I’m reading the reviews & finding out there’s new ownership which makes so much sense! I had the EXACT feeling of not coming back, and that’s why

It use to be a good spot to grab soul food at but ever since new management had taken over it the food has been such a disappointment. Don't waste your money or ruin your taste buds here

This place is horrible,!!! This is not the original Esther it was sold to a new owner and they are still using Esther as the name. They only had dried up pork chops and leg quarters chicken. No ox tails, fried wings, meat loaf etc... nothing! It’s a awful thing, the mac and cheese was so nasty ?. Don’t go here if you are looking for Edthers menu and taste
Decent enough food. Good size quantity. Staff was friendly.

This is our third Cirque du Soleil event in Miami this is the first time we have been able to eat beforehand and the meal was amazing fried catfish with red beans and rice grilled snapper with pigeon peas and rice. That was my laugh of the day. What a great place! I highly recommend this place to anyone

The inspector was there and surprisingly the food wasn't good. The grits were bland, eggs hard, and was given a slice of white bread. It looks like there may be a change in ownership.

Under new management food is not the same no more never going back
