The food is always, always good. I get the chicken platter with the lettuce and hummus ??+ that garlic butter and pita ?please. I’m devastated having moved away from the location that I can’t go back and get food from here and haven’t been able to find anything like it 15/10⭐️

The food is great and actually flavorful in comparison to other Mediterranean resturants in Miami. The service is quick and the staff are very nice. I highly recommend the chicken and falafel sandwiches. The chicken is very tender, nicely spiced, and complimented with tahini sauce. The vegetables add a fresh taste and crunch to the sandwiches.

The bad reviews tell of a story about not liking the food, whether it is bad/stale falafel, or they have had better Mediterranean cuisine elsewhere. The good reviews speak of no line, better quality food, delicious food, and good service. Though some negative reviews make assumptions, like the falafel being pre-made (as if to say it was something that was pre bought and not homemade) even though a customer cannot tell if it was such. Based on the reviews, this place seems worth a try, since if you like it, it’s an efficient place to get delicious food. Personally, I have been there myself and find it quite convenient location wise since it is tucked away in a cozy corner, away from people’s eyes, additionally I find the same reports as the positive reviews. Though I do understand the limited options as mentioned in a negative review, it also makes the decision making easy for my indecisive brain. Additionally, a lot of the negative reviews seem to be nit-picking on one specific thing they dislike, which is understandable, but not worthy of making someone turn away from the establishment. Furthermore, the guy running the place is quite nice. It even has plenty of vegan or vegetarian options, as well as gluten-free, dairy-free and even carnivorous (if you so pleased) though it is not specifically advertised to the customers. To further explain, other establishments often make these “alternative” synthetic foods that are specifically marketed to people of certain diets, which people often given mixed reviews on — but the food provided here is naturally available for the limited diet and is able to give one many options for one's diet. It’s good food and a good place, try it if you haven’t.

I love this place! Here’s the deal. FIU has many food options that are always packed! And when you’re trying to grab a quick lunch and go, yeah it’s no going to work out. Here comes Almazar with their efficiency and productivity knocking down the long lines like it’s nobody’s business. Lines at this place are a myth because I’ve never seen one.The food is bomb and relatively healthy too. Im not a vegetarian or vegan but I think they have some nice options for them too which is always nice. Don’t bother with anything else Almazar’s got you covered
