The price is way too expensive for the amount and quality of food. We had two Lamb chops, two appetizers, two drinks. The total was $247. This includes an automatic 20% tip which the waitress referred to as “service charge”. While the place is nice, no way is it worth a tiny high top table, small portion for just ok food. I recommend you consider other options

This was our third time at Amal but first time for early brunch. The decor is very pretty and I loved that all of the windows were open (during spring time) which gives it that easy flow outdoor-indoor feel. The food and service was good. My only feedback is that the seating areas were not vacuumed as there were crumbs and hair visible. We came right as they opened, the first to be seated.

Delicious place!! Amazing cocktails and the food was superb... we did a sample of many appetizers, and they were superb... and then I asked for the back cod... unbelievable... what a great dish, fish cooked to perfection, the sauce was tangy and well balanced... it was absolutely delicious. It was so good that I only took 1 photo!! Everything we tried was worth it.

Great experience - service was stellar and the food was great for a group of diverse tastes. The octopus was out of the world. And the hummus was so fresh!

We had an amazing time at Amal celebrating my wife's birthday!! The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. They worked with us to create a special menu that catered to everyone in our party and perfectly managed any food allergies. We will be back soon.
No review because they wouldn’t seat a table of 10 without us agreeing to a prix fixe menu. Never had this happen to me where we wouldn’t be allowed to order whatever we wanted off the menu. We asked for further explanation from a manager, but we were told that would be a waste of time. Very disappointing experience for such a highly rated restaurant.

Super cool vibe, bellydancers and Mediterranean food. Didn’t love the hummus, kind of dry but otherwise the food and experience were great.

The restaurant downstairs is beautiful as is the rooftop bar (with amazing views) which is where we went. Our bartender was really nice. The ham croquettes were more cheese than ham and a double of Grey Goose is $40. Highest we paid in the Grove.

Beautiful inside but calling the outside street seating a “patio” is an oversell. It was my first time going so I hadn't realized outside meant eating practically on the road. Food was great and service is good, but definitely book inside.

What a beautiful restaurant and the food was OUTSTANDING. The general manager welcomed us and showed us his rooftop! What a GENTLEMAN Such great hospitality. Just hope next time I get a different waitress.
