Our reservation was for 11:30 on a Monday night, we arrived 14 min late (had to get kids to bed) when the host finally came to greet us she explained the kitchen and bar were already shut down and last call had passed (website said they were open till 12) we explained we had a reservation and she “didn't know how that was possible”. It's very frustrating trying to eat late when places close earlier than their stated hours and turn away good paying customers who just want to enjoy the little free time available.

We absolutely love American Social and will definitely be back! Our server was great and the complimentary Rosé and single rose for Mother's Day was so sweet. Always have an amazing time.

We went for Mother's Day, had our son and his girlfriend join us after setting up reservations, & despite calling in advance, they weren't interested/ nor able to pivot despite not having many tables seated and let us sit outside. However, everything was good, Just disappointing to be there on that special day and not be accommodated.

We went to American Social twice on our trip. An outside table is the way to go! Watch the yachts cruise by. On both occasions our servers were excellent! Compared to other restaurants on Ocean Drive in South Miami, American Social was the best food, service and value for money.

The venue is located in a great spot so we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We arrived before the reservation and had extremely slow and delayed service from our server in the beginning and then with our food. It took almost 50 minutes for two basic dishes (salmon benedict and quiche) which didn't really make sense and our server could have communicated delays but hadn't.

The view is great and the staff ensured we had a good experience. We liked the appetizers with baked potatoes. The omelettes with spinach and cheese were ok. It came with salad and the dressing ended up making the omelette soggy.Vegetarian options: There weren't many vegetarian options, so we ended up ordering a chicken bowl without meat. It was an ok option, but did not add any vegetables.

Not your average American food menu for a bar. They are putting a twist on food items to try and elevate the experience but the quality of the food falls short. It’s good, but not great. Service was great, all of the staff is very friendly and attentive. The acoustics in the restaurant are terrible, when the music is not playing it’s very echoing. They try and overcome this by playing music extremely loud to drown out the echos which in turn means you need to scream at each other to hear what the other person is saying. Location is fantastic. So much more potential if they would just change a few things.

The classic ??sports ⚽️??⚾️bar with the best MIA river views.Perfect spot for ?happy hour ⏳whe you are looking for a price/value spot around Brickell ?On average, the food ??is good and drinks are solid! We adventured ourselves with the daiquiri lighting ?tower (it serves up to 10 people)! ??????????To cushion our bellies with some bites we went with one of their signature sandwiches, the WAGYU TRUFFLE ?MELT ?(truffle aioli, havarti, onion, mushroom, sourdough), that comes with potatoes and an addictive ranch ?sauce. Aside from it, we also included a GRILLED CAULIFLOWER STEAK (miso, maitake, ?carrot puree, quinoa, salsa verde, pomegranate). We really enjoyed both of them. The truffle on the wagyu melt was well balanced, meanwhile the miso and carrot puree added a sweet spot to the grilled cauliflower !The ambient is pretty active and the music very hip! ?Really enjoyed the session played by the dj! Most of it pop/dance remixes!Service by Pamela ??‍♀️superb! ??Overall, great place for afterwork sessions or just meet regular friends for drinks ???n bites ??Vegetarian options: GRILLED CAULIFLOWER STEAK (miso, maitake, ?carrot puree, quinoa, salsa verde, pomegranate).

The very special atmosphere, the service from the front staff excellent. The bartender was very nice, the drinks she prepared for us were great, the only thing was my food arrived cold and not at the correct end of cooking the meat. The very special atmosphere, the service from the excellent front staff.
