Great experience with amazing fresh food. Desserts were even better! Only complaint is music was a bit loud for such a small area but for a Saturday afternoon, I would highly recommend.

Noisy. Nothing to do with the flavors of Italy, plus everything is very expensive compared to other restaurants.

If you are Italian or descendant you immediately realize that the food is not good. The pasta they served us was overcooked. Possibly precooked. The frozen and cooked mushrooms were like jello. Some dishes with very little or no flavor. The head of the innkeepers was chewing while he was on his way to serve us. Very unseemly. I found it too expensive for the quality of the food. If you want to eat in a quiet environment, don't come to this place because the noise is not normal. I don't understand how some diners give it certain positive ratings. Obviously, either they have not gone to eat in a good place and they have probably never been to Italy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my boyfriend and I's experience at Basilico. We had the calamari, the gnocchi, the flank steak with mashed potatoes, and the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. I was extremely impressed by the gnocchi. Coming from an Italian household, these are incredibly hard to make well and these are the best I've eaten outside my grandma's house. The calamari and steak were good, nothing too crazy. The service was fast besides dessert, which took longer, but it was excusable since the apple strudel was baked fresh. The plating for some dishes left a little more to be desired. There was, unfortunately, a family nearby us that had a high volume on their phones and shone a flashlight at us on a phone call. Overall though, we highly enjoyed our experience!

If you're craving pasta, this place is perfect for you. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, and it was incredibly delicious, with a creamy sauce. I devoured it so quickly that I didn't even have time to take a picture. The bread served was exceptionally fluffy and crunchy. The Lobster soup boasts incredible flavors. The desserts were absolutely amazing. The service was satisfactory, although there was a peculiar Argentinian gentleman with an interesting character. I couldn't quite determine if he was rude or simply being himself. The ambiance is lovely and overall pristine. I strongly recommend it.
