Charly's Vegan Tacos...popular for a damn-good reason. We stopped in on a Saturday at 5 p.m. for dinner and happy hour BOGO drinks (check their social media for happy hour times, but it's until 7 on weekends!) and were not disappointed. For happy hour, any drinks are BOGO, so my mom and I had margaritas: the classic and the tamarind. Both were perfect even in my mother's opinion (she is a marg. connoisseur): we loved that they weren't too sweet and also the fact that we only paid $9 for two of them-I highly suggest coming during happy hour! For our meal, we split the Nachos and 2 tacos: the Portobello and the Yubu. I love how you are allowed to mix-and-match tacos to try more flavors. Although just nachos and two tiny tacos seem like a small meal for two, we were completely satisfied. The nachos were huge and are an absolute must-order...DO NOT skip them! The tortilla chips are fresh-made and the toppings all contributed to a flavorful pile of goodness (especially those damn-good beans!). The tacos were also tasty-the tortillas are made in-house, which makes all the difference. Our of the two, I think the smoked portobello was my favorite despite thinking I would feel otherwise. Lastly, the service was great-our waitress Pheona (spelling?) was so sweet, fulfilled our many requests (so sorry girl!) and we enjoyed our conversation with her. Don't skip Charly's if you're in Miami!

I’m so DISAPPOINTED in this place because of the great reviews.Key points: HORRIBLE SERVICE, RUDE & HAD AN ATTITUDE, MANAGER DID NOTHING, FOOD MEDIOCRE, NO PARKINGA friend of ours was in town and we decided to go to this place. We get to their patio area and a male server told us to sit wherever we would like. So we decided on a table inside. My girlfriend went to try to find parking. We sat down and no one look over to us, no one greeted us inside. Nothing. So it finally takes the female server to 8 minutes to come to us. We put in an order for 3 waters and the fried avocado. We waited and waited for our water, while I saw the server move her or someone else’s dog twice, we was behind the bar on her phone. 15 MINUTES LATER my girlfriend comes back and is shocked we don’t have water. I say politely “Ma’am Can we have our waters please”. She looked over to us with a side eye and said “yea I’m coming”. At that point both my friends ask me if I wanted to leave because of the attitude. I told them no, we are here let’s try.She brings our waters 5 minutes later, 10 minutes more our avocado fries come in. IN THE MEAN TIME ANOTHER TABLE WAS SAT, GIVEN WATER AND THERE MAIN MEAL BEFORE US!!!! This server was intentionally making us wait more and more because I asked her for water which was her fault for taking 20 minutes to give to us.We ordered our food it came and we asked her for chips. It took her 12 minutes to bring. We ate and it was okay, not amazing but good! We finished the chips and asked her twice for more, she said “it’s coming”. We asked the manager and he brought it out immediately.What really bothered me was during this entire time the manager was seated in front of us looking at the fact we had no water in the beginning, it took forever to get us things. He didn’t assist not once. Also, the cleanness in there was nonexistent.Sadly I will not be going back.

Gave charlys another chance and chef Charly was in town and he prepared the food for us himself. Wow, what love and passion was put into every bite. The food was fantastic. The service was good and personable. We also gave the spicy margarita and desserts a try: tiramisu and cheesecake. Both out of this world and highly recommend. The margarita was excellent. Never had a margarita like that before. All in all, we are very grateful we gave Charleys another try.

The nachos were good if you are looking for vegan ones, the meat lovers burrito was also good. I liked the homemade habanero hot sauce but it could have been a lot spicier. Also the spicy margarita was worth a try.

Couldn’t wait to leave the restaurant before leaving my review. I’m not vegan but the food was super delicious/flavorful. I couldn’t even notice the difference. 10/10 would def recommend if in the wynwood area. David our server was great as well.
