Best Pastelitos in Miami! The owner is a well vetted & dedicated pastelero (pastry baker) from Cuba with great attention to detail, always checking on the pastelitos in the glass casing to bring out the new batch. His pastelitos have the best form, fluffed to a layered crisp, filled in perfectly (no cheating on the guava, cheese, or picadillo) and glazed to perfection. I am glad to have this gem in Westchester.-Danny L.

Good food. The worker with the black hair that has it up in a bun had a terrible attitude. It’s almost like she hates customers. Wonder if she’s related to the owner and that’s why she gets to keep her job despite the horrible ratings and complaints about her here. Aside from that the food is ok. Wouldn’t make this my regular stop for breakfast but only if I’m in the area and starving with nowhere else to go.

Today I had the worst experience here at 7:15am. I stopped by for breakfast and I had a really bad interaction. The women who attended me had a horrible attitude. When I asked for an omelette sandwich to the 1st woman she rolled her eyes, and gave me the list of add ons with terrible attitude, then she left and didn’t even asked if I needed anything else. Just took off. Then second woman came, I asked her for a coffee. My coffee was left sitting at the end of the counter getting cold for over 15 minutes. I left this place very disappointed. I will not recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good morning. I will definitely not be back.

The pastries are great but the service sometimes is terrible, as in not paying attention when taking your order, seemingly angry workers.. tables are not kept clean, even with the little bit of visitors it gets. Baker seems really nice though.
Very kind staff, good all day breakfast!,They have some food and sweets choices!. Great and better price comparing to others places.

The food is excellent and so are the prices, especially when compared to Cao (nee Vicky Bakery down the street). The staff, however, do not appear to be 'morning people' (they were grumpy when I showed up). Perhaps they mellowed out after they had THEIR café.
