A long time establishment in Miami Nestled between coconut grove and the roads on the US-1 & SW 17 Ave. Serves spanish dishes to pair with the ample wine selection displayed on the walls, selection varies by type of grape and region Service is above average Food is exceptional delicious and well presented

This Tapas restaurant is best enjoyed in a group of at least 6 or more. That way you can order lots of small plates and everyone can share. Most tapas we ordered were excellent, maybe the garbanzos didn't stand out. My personal favorites were the albondigas, chorizo in wine and the tortilla espanola. Everyone raved about the white sangria. The wait staff was also very attentive and always available.

What an unexpected treat. If you're looking for the best tapas spot in Miami, in an unexpected place, this is it. Do not be intimidated by the location but expect a great time, great food, atmosphere and incredible service. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and every time it is a treat and a memorable time. I love this place and I know you will too. You will come back over and over again. I guarantee you. As if you were in Spain

I have been there and had "croquetas de bacalao" I definitely recommend it also the wine is amazing planning to visit in the near future

Be aware they will not take back any wine either exchange or for a store credit. Only wine store in the area that tells you that once you leave the store with the wine that's it. And they're not very nice even about telling you. We bought a case of wine for a party and tried to return some because the guests didn't drink it all. Don't shop here- there are plenty of other places like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods that have a better selection and prices.

I adore this place. Anytime I have visitors in town, I take them here - but give no context about where we are going except "spanish tapas." And it is always such a surprising treat! This is a small place, so if you are going on a holiday or weekend, I highly recommend calling for a reservation. Service is always fantastic. I highly recommend the: bacon wrapped dates, bread with tomato, garlic shrimp, chorizo cooked in wine, and the vegetable platter. I truly have never tried one of the entrees here, because I am always down to share a bunch of small plates. Overall, such a unique but DELICIOUS location!

El Carajo is truly a hidden gem nestled within a gas station in Coral Gables. My dining experience there was marked by the mixed tapas for two, which offered a delightful array of flavors. While the omelette arrived slightly chilled, the potatoes and bacon-wrapped skewers stole the show with their deliciousness. Moreover, the staff were accommodating and provided attentive service throughout our meal. Overall, El Carajo offers a unique dining experience with its fusion of tapas and wine bar, making it a must-visit for those seeking culinary adventures in unexpected places. The ambience and atmosphere feels like you've been whisked away to Spain!! Lovely experience

Ordered Pan con Tomate and it had no flavor. Caldo gallego was tasty but too thick mostly beans. Boquerones were good. Service slow like always.

Have heard about this tapas spot for ages and it did not disappoint!! The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous and the tapas were all excellent - I truly cannot pick a favorite. It is so fun to peruse the library of wines, all sorted by country of origin. Come with family, friends, or a date to enjoy!

Miami staple ! Wine selection is great. Service is always 10/10, staff know their stuff and always have the best recs. Meatballs, ALL the croquetas and the Pulpo al Ajillo are some of my faves

Absolutely delicious Spanish food. Every cut of meat in the Tabla de Carne was to die for. The Ensalada de Casa was light and refreshing. The pulpo was perfectly smokey. I love the ambiance that's just overflowing with all kinds of wine bottles, and our waitress was perfectly attentive. I'm already making plans to come back to try more tapas. 10/10.

My favorite place to buy wine in Miami and also a great spot for bites and happy hour! Everyone is very friendly and knows a lot about wine so they will recommend delicious gems at any price point. The only thing is that it's crammed and dark in there so if you're sitting at table, shoppers can be hovering over you and bumping into your table.

Great hidden wine bar and tapas place, love...love. I always get the Gazpacho, delicious. The wines by the glass are one of the best selections offered in Miami.

Great food but I ask the bar for ice to add to my cup of water and got a NO from the bartender. She said it was strictly prohibited! Owner/ manager have you ever heard of customer service? This simple act ruined the total customer experience!!
