We live locally and decided to stay here for a quick getaway and it became one of our best vacations ever! We actually booked the South Cottage and called to a week before our vacation to see if they have any cottages with two bathrooms instead of just one. I haven’t been here for about 10 years and that’s too bad because I had a really restful and enjoyable weekend here. Now the hotel doesn’t use condos around the island but is limited to 15 cottages on the hotel property. You really do feel like you’re a guest at the Vanderbilt mansion when you come here and the bungalows feel like the Beverly Hills Hotel. An absolutely incredible restaurant on this private residences island. The feeling of paradise carries right through the restaurant. The meal and service were awesome! and the views from your seat are breathtaking!
