This is some of the most fun we've had since COVID hit. We go with our dog park group every Friday, and it is the bomb! The guy who runs it is so freaking nice! He and his wife donate food vouchers and backpacks to local schools. They are very kind people. The DJ is fun, and the food!!! Oh my foot, let me tell you about the food. I have tried a lot of things, but this is my favorite lineup. I get a leche de tigre from the little peruvian truck (the lomo saltado is good too), then I get the monster burger from the big green truck (it is the best burger and fries I have ever had, I could write a whole separate review about that truck alone), then I order the super fruit tea (tastes like magic and candy) from bubble fresh, and the end is where it gets difficult.....the funnel cakes are amazing, churros, amazing, milkshakes, amazing, just all so good....I have to fine tune the sweet portion of my Fridays?. Anyway, if you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!

Couldnt even try the food. Horrible traffic at a huge venue where parking should be the least of your worries

Ever since finding out about the food trucks event at Tropical Park every Friday evenings, this gave me something to look forward to every Friday. It's been really nice to hang out with friends outdoors since not everyone feels safe being indoors together due to covid. Tables, chairs, and hand-washing stations are provided. Staff members are always on standby to clean tables and chairs, and they are strict about keeping face masks on while walking or standing. That way, the event can stay operating every Friday and provide a safe and fun place for people and dogs of all ages to attend.I've been going every Friday for 2 months and have tried different food and boba teas. Some of my favorite food trucks are Bubble Fresh, Monster, Churros, and other ones I forgot the names of. I love the burgers (with lettuce wrap) and fries from Monster, Super Fruit Tea from Bubble Fresh, Leche Tigre from Peruvian food truck, fried oreos, and roasted corns. My friends are not a big fan of Yoyo Burgers because their burger patties are tiny compared to the bread buns and the buns aren't great quality. I've only tried their chicken tenders before and they were...okay.Most food trucks have contactless payment options, which is really convenient. Restrooms are available for use nearby (please keep it nice and don't trash it!). The staff members who organized the event and keep the area clean are really nice from my experience. Moty, who wears glasses, has been very helpful, attentive, and informative. He really cares about customers and food qualities. There's this other nice staff member, a young guy, who is always on point picking up and cleaning after tables. Thank you all for giving us this event to look forward to and attend during covid.Parking is free. No admission fees. More people have been finding out about the events as time passes, so the parking situation has been getting a bit more chaotic. So my feedback would be to have some sort of parking guidance. We're in Miami and people in Miami are known to be not very skilled at driving and parking...haha.
