I finally tried the Hungry Bear. I'm big on customer service and I happily greeted from everyone. Ordering was fast and sufficient, and food quick, fresh and sooo good. Prices are great for those who love fresh real food. And I will end on that note because this lil is full ??

I must say that today was a good day at hungry bear… Not only did I get what I ordered just right ?? but the attention before and after the meal wasPerfection ? KUDOS TO THE STAFF AND I believe the owners Son who asked in the end of my visit “was it good ? Did you like your sandwich??” And as he asked me he said it in the most caring and optimistic manner which had me to reply “it was delicious “ ? Great experience!!!!

This place is an archive here in Kendall! Been around since I attended college across the street! The subs are amazing! Always has been! The place has not changed at all. Still the same spot with the benches outside to sit and eat. Service has always been stellar. Fast and efficient! This place will be around for another 50 years! Great subs, great location and great owners! Kudos to hungry bear!

Management is horrible! Owners son does not care about the customers. AJ follows in the same training. This place is not run like it used to be, it's worse. I'm sad that this place has taken a toll for the worst as it used to be the best sub shop in Miami.BUYER BEWARE!!!! They will not remake a sub if they messed it up. Nor give a credit or anything to make it up to the customer that was screwed over. $20 for a sub and chips and horrible customer service.Twice now I ordered a sub with extra cheese and veggies. They forgot to put the extra cheese and veggies in the sub. Refused to remake the sub correctly BOTH TIMES!!!!$20 down the drain and spent on a sandwich I didn't like ...TWICE!!!Management: Just own up to the mistakes you make and remake the sub if you made it wrong or badly, stop arguing with customers and pinching pennies to try to get out of remaking a sub! Jeez! YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE BUSINESS!!!!!And bet they won't even respond to this review, as they don't care

Over horrible experience, non of the employees were wearing a hair net! I kindly asked to heat my bread on the grill and they replied "the owner does not allow us to the bread on the grill". So it's om not to wear hair nets but it's against the rules to heat up

Been going there about 40 years maybe longer. Classic subs from hot to cold. Anything you want it’ll be piled on. Meatballs a classic, steak and cheese, Turkey bacon cheese, as well as bacon egg and cheese, and cold cuts too. I believe it’s still the original family owned. Highly recommend!!! Go and enjoy!!!

I like some of the reviewers, used to come here for the steak and cheese sandwiches. I don't live in the area anymore but decided to stop in and get a steak and cheese and a teriyaki steak sub. The teriyaki sub tasted like a plain steak I think one bite had a taste of teriyaki. The bread is soft but no flavor. I would not recommend this store or their food. The cheese slice if it was there must of been super skinny. I asked for lettuce and onion on the side and asked the lady if she gave me that and she said yes. Well I got lettuce and tomato instead.$15 dollars for a sub and almost no onion in the steak sandwich. Disappointed. Update the cheese steak had a piece of white plastic in it aboutthe size of a tooth now I'm at zero stars. Apparently there are no rules for cleanliness. Just unbelievable

Love this place. I stop in for lunch all time and my father has been coming for many years. Highly recommend. Subs come fully loaded and packed. Can't go wrong with any option just depends your liking. Last time in we purchased steak and cheese and Buffalo chicken subs.

I'm so disappointed with my Philly cheese steak. Lots of meat, unfortunately it was chopped up so fine that was more like dry hamburger meat. Couldn't find any cheese and only a very few pieces of onions and peppers. The only reason I gave 2 stars on food is cuz the Italian sub was good.
