Great decor. Delicious. Convenient. Quick, polite service. First time visiting the downtown location during lunchtime hours. The food was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the jerk chicken with mango salsa, plantains, and rice and peas with oxtail gravy. And because rbat wasn't enough, I also ordered a beef patty. I will definitely be back!
Spot is definitely happening. Walking in is a sophisticated funk of retro chic. The cocktails are all carefully crafted with cool names or stick to your favorite spirits and keep it simple with a rum and coke, or Hennessey on the rocks etc. it's all here. Think of this as the concept of Chipotle but with Jamaican/Caribbean food! Awesome build your own bowl options with vegetarian and pescatarian diets in mind too. I loved the peas and rice, the yucca, and the jerk chicken. The mango salsa is a must too. You've gotta get the beef patty! Go check out the seating in the back. The area is so cool and vibey!
