Versailles reminds me of my abuelas kitchen. Such nice and warm hospitality and service provided by the hostess and service staff, not to mention all the delicious items offered on their menu. I tried a little bit of everything and was so pleased with the amount of flavor in all the dishes. After dinner we stopped by the bakery for some cafe con leche and pastries.

I have visited this place several times with my wife and also with my friends last night. This establishment consistently delivers exceptional food and service, never failing to impress.

Amazing food. Great sandwiches. Mojitos so original. Plantains, yucca and empanadas. Plus a sinful bakery right next door. If you come to Miami this is a must stop !!!

My husband, father in law and I decided to have some Cuban food since tomorrow we go back to California. When we arrived, we had to check in and the wait time was 30-40 minutes. The only main issue that I have is that the waiting area is outside and it was very cold and they don't have those heater lamps. Once they called us we got seated right away and our server was just amazing. I ordered some chicken soup and a mojito to start and my husband ordered a sangria while my father in law ordered a Cuba libre drink. For dinner my husband ordered their Rabo Encendido, my father in law ordered the fish with shrimp and I ordered the milanesa steak. After we ate we ordered two cortadito coffee and a strawberry cheesecake. The food was very tasty and delightful. My arroz moro tasted like the one my grandma used to make me when I was living in Cuba which brought many beautiful childhood memories in my Cuba. I would recommend anyone to come to Versailles and eat here.

For non Cuban tourist or those not familiar with Cuban seasoning I think you will still enjoy your visit to Versailles. But for out of area Cubans ,Versailles if you loved this place before ,you will be disappointed as it is no longer what it once was. Since the original owner Felipe Valls passed away ,the food quality has gone from excellent to substandard. The flavors and portions are not like it use to be. This really was my favorite go to place for over 30 years for traditional Cuban dishes and their extensive menu. Their creole sauce and sofrito based seasoning is not remotely Cuban. Versailles is doing a great job of marketing that attracts tourist not really familiar with Cuban cuisine. Not everything is bad. Their pastries are still the best 5 stars and its nice to get a coffee at the "ventanita". Prices have always been great and I thought service was very good. Im hoping the granddaughter Nicole will bring the food quality to the same consistent standards that Versailles has always been known for. Im hoping it gets better. I really want this to be my 5 star cuban spot again.

I'm all about Cuban food and I like this place. However, there is usually a line in this place which is why I reduce it to 4 stars instead.

BEWARE OF HEFTY "SERVICE FEES" YOU WILL BE TIPPING TWICE. We were here from out of town for the boat show. Since the place is well known we wanted to try it.. We were placed on a waiting list for friday lunch (30-minute wait). Meanwhile, ordered 2 mojitos ($12 each) with VERY little rum. We received the bar tab for over $30, not including the tip due to service fee. Evidently, the fee goes to the owner who may (or not) distribute to employees, sometimes its considered "gratuity fee." Every ticket (split tickets, etc) has this fee Don't know about you, but we prefer to give gratuity based on service and not forced on us. The fees were charged at every establishment, including hotels in Miami/South Beach area. These fees can be removed if requested with a push. Plan to spend $18/glass wine and $12/beer. Food is also very expensive. If you go to Miami and don't want to be charged for every small thing, stay on the outskirts of the city. All that to say, we did not eat here, just finished our drinks and left. It's a neat place to visit, but be prepared that most of Miami is a tourist trap rip-off.

A very popular place, in Little Havana but about 2 miles away from the busy area accessible via a free trolley. We started our visit here for lunch and tried some of the local/ Cuban food. The empanadas and pastries are wonderful. I'm sure the Cuban food is authentic but I didn't find too much I liked and the seafood on the menu was frozen not fresh. Calamari not so good.

Consistently good Cuban food. These days, the place is a tad too touristy for my tastes; however, the service is on point and very attentive. There's pretty much always a wait time, but the host is quite organized and friendly. Removing a star because I was disappointed to learn that there was no decent place in this huge restaurant to change my nephew's diaper.
