Truly the best team I could have asked for for my incredible 150 person backyard wedding. At first we had reached out to mena strictly for food because of the many recommendations I got from close friends but after the first run through call with Kristen Saks & Ana Lacarda we quickly realized how much my wife and I needed to get done and how little we had actually planned at that point which stressed us out at first but with Kristen and Ana’s guidance, recommendations, and contacts we were at ease knowing they would take care of the entire event for us. Kristen and Ana provided us with amazing communication and were flexible yet highly solution-oriented, always hearing our ideas out and giving us effective feedback and support and always having plenty of options for each aspect we wanted to incorporate for the event. We honestly could not have had as perfect of a wedding as we imagined without them. With their help, we were provided with the best wedding my wife and I could have asked for. The food was incredible - so much variety and attention to detail (they pulled off an eclectic menu consisting of Korean, Peruvian, and Caribbean flavors), the service/staff were attentive and kind and the ceremony and reception were remarkable. Where to begin?! I hired Mena for my 350 person, backyard wedding in December of 2023. This team is comprised of absolute professionals who know EXACTLY what they’re doing—from food to party planning, everything was hit out of the park. A week before my wedding the forecast showed rain. My wedding would have been an absolute disaster but for Monica and Lily springing into action and tenting my entire house. They were cool, calm, and collected the entire time despite the entire layout of the wedding having to shift days before. I knew they had it under control and was perfectly at peace the entire time. The wedding was DRY, FUN, and absolutely STUNNING….now let’s talk about the food. I think 30+ guests came up to my at the reception just to talk to me about the food. Every bite was DELICIOUS. The appetizers were scrumptious (they even brought me my own bridal appetizer sampler ?). I really could go on and on about Mena. I recommend them to anyone who will listen. On top of all of the above, they are cool and fun to work with. They made the planning process enjoyable and stress free. 10/10, 5 Stars, A+, Gold Medal.

She was always very communicative and an all around pleasure to work with from the beginning to the very end. She understood my vision exactly and was unbelievably patient with me when I started stressing about rain the predicted day on the day of our outdoor event. When the rain came, she handled it so well and organized her team with complete cool and grace. Despite the rain changing our original layout last minute, every single detail was still *perfect* that day because Kristen put in 110% effort managing the staff, was an excellent listener and very detail oriented.I would be remiss to not mention her team as well. They were SO kind, professional and on top of every single thing. Any time I needed something, someone from Mena was there at my elbow to anticipate my needs. The second it rained, the food was quietly, calmly and quickly brought into the kitchen where they reorganized the platters nicely on the kitchen island without any drama. It was a case study in professionalism and preparedness.The food was, of course, excellent. The spread was a huge variety of things and the taste was 10 for 10 on everything which was a pretty impressive achievement across the board.I cannot recommend Mena enough and am very grateful that they have maintained a high level of excellence all these years. All of their servers, bartenders, cooks and kitchens staff were professional and exceptional. From cocktail hour to dinner, wouldn’t change a thing.I would say contacting them and getting a quote was pulling teeth but don’t let this turn you away. We were recommended by my planner, Mayra from EYExclusive and it was the best bang for our buck!We had 100 guests and the food came out warm and delicious.
