Sooooo we were just driving around the neighborhood looking for Little Havana and was searching to get some Cuban food. But last minute, we just wanted to eat some Mexican food. I was hesitant to even find one because I am VERY picky. I seem to walk out of most Mexican restaurants not that happy. There are so many Mexican restaurants out there that don't make their stuff authentic and don't put much love into the food. I live in Las Vegas, NV and there is not one good Mexican restaurant I recommend. Anyway, we decided to come to La Valentina. We were surprised the restaurant was so tiny. We sat down and ordered mixed fajitas and chicken enchiladas with a mix of green and red sauce. Let me tell ya... The food was outstanding! The salsa was so flavourful and everything just tasted so authentic. The Spanish rice was cooked to perfection and sooo good. The guacamole was the best I ever had. It was perfectly ripped and flavored! When we got there probably about 15 minutes in, it got soooo busy for our waitress. People were standing in line out the door just to sit and eat. Because I felt bad for people waiting, I felt rushed lol. I wish I lived in Miami just to try everything on the menu. If you don't need a nice atmosphere dining experience but want very good authentic Mexican food, I totally recommend coming here. I just hope I don't have to wait for a long time to sit and eat because the restaurant is very tiny. We'll be flying back in July and definitely be back because we can't get this type of food in Las Vegas ?.Parking: Free parking in the back of the building. Paid parking in the front.

I found this little cool hole in the wall while jogging back home. While it may have been a regular "fonda" a few years prior, it is now gentrified with a turf/ flower wall for "the gram". It still retains the cafeteria counter seating , and also has regular tables. Since I was coming from working out, I just sat at the bar but had water. The dishes are your regular tex-mex classics with sizeable & well-seasoned portions, starting with the crispy chips. Both the red & green salsas that came with them were nicely hot. In addition to red refried beans, cups of pico, sour cream and rice, the chicken fajitas were equally flavorful no doubt enhanced with celery, generous helping of tomatoes and green peppers. They also make a nice cafecito. Definitely worth the find!

I looked on Google for the seafood molcagete and that's why we went. But they didn't have it?? we ended up ordering toast. The revoltosas, and an aguachiles, were good but not what we wanted. We returned the next day and. They also didn't have the seafood molcagete????

They sold me some expired sweets and that should be inspected by Health because one expects that all products are fresh and this was not the case and the food arrived hours later to me and my companions.
