New York Deli is a great local joint to order and pick up or simply sit and eat. Mike the owner is always super great and friendly and his traditional delicatessen (hard to find in South Florida) can make you feel right back in NYC. The Reuben sandwich is ON-POINT as well as the French dip. French toast with fat PHAT challah bread and oh, so much more. Stop bye for a simple and yummies eats. Slightly expensive but you will be satisfied with the portions filling you up. Enjoy the Nosh ??

Decided to stop here because my sister had a craving for a hot corned beef on rye. So I googled 'great restaurants near us with great corned beef sandwiches'. Since we were in North Miami Beach this restaurant popped up. Looking at the great reviews we decided to go here. We were not disappointed.I had the Reuben Sandwich and my sister had the corned beef on rye. I suppose most of these types of sandwiches are pretty standard and it is rare to find one poorly made so I wasn't surprised the sandwiches were good. What was a pleasant surprise was the amount of meat they put into the sandwiches at a reasonable price. And moreover the meat was very moist and the bread was so fresh that it made it even better.The restaurant itself isn't special. Just a typical storefront. The service was good and quick but nothing really special. The main stars are the sandwiches with so much meat you can't finish them. We will definitely return again.But always call before going to be sure they are open and will be have enough of whatever it is you want before driving there. I've gone a couple of times and they were closed even though the Google search showed them open. Also in the past I've gone late in the afternoon only to be told they were out of a certain item.

This place has a very extensive menu of New York deli Classics and food was decent. However, they are extremely short staffed, and you really had to basically manage the entire experience yourself. We had to constantly flag down staff for service, drink refills, and to order food. The outside of the building is also looking very rundown. I would recommend that the restaurant invest in updating the outside and upgrading some of the flooring and other features inside the restaurant.Parking: There are a limited number of spots out front. But I also believe there is an additional lot behind the building.

Superb professionalism and outstanding customer service. The staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. You will love them and last but certainly never least is Mike the owner, it wouldn't be The Big Apple without him. Great personality, friendly and overall a cut above the rest.
