Umm, it was okay. I see what they were trying to do, but they missed the mark. They are unprofessional and confused about how much of what goes into each meal, but their prices are reasonable. Also, their service is pretty good and the presentation of the food. However, the only thing that was edible in my plate were the wings. And I love how they were packaged separately in a brown greasy box. It was greasy, but I loved the concept. It seemed gourmet and fancy. They tasted plain but they were okay. The rice was flavorless though and the food tasted like something a teenager made. However, their food is definitely better than the restaurant next door, Theos.Inside, is also very small, cramped and poorly designed.

Over love this place food is very good definitely if your looking for soul food when I visit I go by the name of Sarah I recently just left and what made me love it even more was an article I read on the owner of the restaurant like a little back story just showed the culture of the restaurant and the back history. I’m from Memphis and the food here didn’t miss. The cashier was well informed about the menu. The service was so good the Chief came around and assisted Someone food question. Her food presentation was beautiful.The customers as we waited was enjoyable. The atmosphere makes me wish I could have sat and ate. Seems as they have a lot of regulars as well. Recommended if ur in the area. I’m not but I’ll be back

Our Papa's Kitchen, I had the limon pepper chicken wings and fries was delicious and the seasoning was on point. it's my second time dinner there and I recommend you experience some really good food.
The food was amazing and the staff was just as good. I definitely recommend this. The first and only soulfood restaurant I actually enjoyed.

Our Papa’s Kitchen did two things so RIGHT that I didn’t realize it was missing from so many other places until I came here.
I was never too big on lemon pepper seasoning, I usually prefer other spices on my chicken wings. But when my niece offered me to try hers, I was blown away! Delicious! (That’s the first thing) I went right over there!
Then, as I picked up my food and was leaving, not only did the cashier thank me with genuine gratitude (so much that I turned to look at her and smile) BUT then I heard a “Thank You!” shouted from back in the kitchen. Wow! These people don’t even know me; they must really appreciate their customers.
So unexpected, yet so impressive!
Great food and great customer service don’t seem to show up at the same time these days. But that day, in that place, that’s what I got!
So worth it!!

Let’s start off with the food I paid a arm and a leg for my twin kid 11 years of age had the chicken pasta and didn’t take a second bite because they said it taste nasty so I decided to see what they were talking about and when I tell u it taste like heavy whipping cream and pepper only I’m not even mad they waste my money. I had the 1/2 of chicken about 20 dollars for a dry Cornish hen I guess this is the hood version of how it’s supposed to be prepared so far the worst place I’ve been and let’s not even talk about the short fat girl that takes orders she is so bitter and rude you would think she personally had it out with me before and I just feel weird even going back I’m sure I’m not the only one she ran away.
