Absolutely amazing!! The food was great and they have an amazing menu. However for me the best part is the overall ambiance. The live music ? and great service made it even better. Definitely recommend y this place.

The place itself is sketchy due to the employees who work there. My friends and I were not expecting for the worst to happen. Never park in the valet parking next to the location ever and give your keys to any employee who works or is associated with them. Paid for valet parking for less than an hour to come back into our cars and things were stolen when the keys were only given to one person and there was only one person working valet that night. The Valet guy and the employees knew what they were doing since they all thought the situation was funny when we came back to try and get the missing items. If you want to get robbed then come here if you don’t then don’t come here.

Headed over to Prohibition after our first reservation fell through. They were super nice and able to accommodate with a 5 min notice. Environment was great and music was at a perfect volume to chat with our friends over dinner. Our server was a little pushy but he insisted on the tequila shots and we obliged. Instead of sharing the plates we opted to order our own entrees. Ordered the tuna tartare to start and while a little over salted was great. The braised short ribs however were perfect, melt in your mouth and flavorful. Highly recommend. Did a side order of the cilantro rice as while flavorful was a little heavily seasoned. Would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere and they even had a pop saxophonist playing on Friday night.

This is a nice restaurant, when we first got there is was half empty then is started to get crowded. They had a man playing the saxofon but it wasn't too loud, which is nice. The food was good, I ordered boneless ribs and the meat was very tasty and soft. The inly reason why I don't give this restaurant a 5 star is because they do take long to serve, the drinks where okay, they should have a better presentation. But overall it was a nice place to have dinner.

I had Prohibition on my list to try for years. Do not even ask me what took me so long to get there because I have really been missing out! I had the great opportunity to visit for NYE where they offered a special menu that included one salad, two appetizers, two entrees, and a dessert. We, of course, had the salad that was so amazingly refreshing. Wow! I can only dream of trying to recreate it at home; I might as well just visit again. Then for appetizer -- we both chose meatballs. I have no regrets at all-- those meatballs are AMAZING. Wonderfully seasoned and accompanied with a robust sauce and delicious bread. I could pretty much stop here but I didn't. The portions allow you to take some home for sure. I had the raspberry mojito and it was delicious too! For entrees- NY strip steak w/truffle fries and short rib with mashed potatoes. Honestly I took most of my entree home to eat at another time, but I did taste it there and it was delicious. Also important, the service was great. I wish I remembered the name of the staff member who helped us-- she did an amazing job at helping us enjoy our time there. My friend called the hostess a few times before our visit and said that he was super helpful as well! Very well done, Prohibition. I will be back!

Was only here for a quick refreshment just after opening time, but the atmosphere seemed amazing. Both wonderful bar seating, group tables, and communal tables iirc.

Great Restaurant. You know it's good when my Mom and aunt (great cooks) loved the food.

I went with my wife for our anniversary and I had made a reservation for a regular table, not a high top or the bar(this is specified in OpenTable). When me and my wife get there, they seat us on a hightop looking at the kitchen. I asked to please seat at a regular table that I had made a reservation for a regular table and they told me no, that it was all booked and that they get busy anyways and that the regular tables are only for parties of 3 or more. Two hours later the place was empty and there is a couple seating in a regular table. The food was also cold. Will not be coming back here.

My best friend and I went to have a few small plates and drinks. The ambiance was good, a bit louder than the first time I went. We enjoyed the overall experience, the drinks were good and so was the food, but the server abandoned us after we were done with our meals and drinks. We had to get the attention of a food runner and tell him we wanted the check. Everything would have been perfect if we didn't have to wait so long to get the check and leave. It was very busy, and it was prime dinner time, but it shouldn't have taken so long. Overall a good restaurant, just extremely busy.

This FOOD IS EVERYTHING!!! Me and my husband came here and we had no complaints what so ever ! I ordered the chicken forestiere ! The creamy sauce , the baby potatoes and carrots was well seasoned! I skinned the bones off the chicken literally! My husband ordered the garlic shrimp and pasta , i tried his and it was sooo good!!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone ! When we come back, this will be our go to restaurant ❤️

Service was OK to very good. Bartender made excellent cocktails seemed not to be overly friendly "just tell me what you want and I'll get it for you" type of vibe. Waiter seemed to be in a rush even though the restaurant was not overly crowded. Had either of them been just a tad warmer, I'd give a higher rating. Food was very tasty and well presented.

For fine dining restaurants, Prohibition is an excellent choice. We definitely over-ordered but a dinner for 2 should run around 100-120 including appetizers and desserts. The quality of food is very savory, especially the lobster mac and cheese. Our server Frank was very positive and energetic which we loved.

Fantastic food! We had the small dishes and they are very big. Would recommend the lobster Mac and cheese and croquettes. We sat there chatting all night and no one asked us to leave or order more which was lovely. Saxophone player was really good.

Last night we decided to come here for a friends birthday dinner. I've always wanted to go but for some reason haven't. I'll say firstly the service and the food did not disappoint at all!! It was great! The food was excellent. I had the pan roasted snapper for my entree and I'll say it was one of my top 3 snapper dishes of all time and the sauce was smooth, creamy and full of flavor. The hummus was also excellent and probably the best I've ever had! My friends raved about their meals as well. The drinks we had were well made and delicious as well. I had the Mary Pickard which was sweet and refreshing and nice to sip on. So why the 3 you ask? Well, the music was so loud we had to shout at one another and still couldn't hear what was said. They had a sax player playing along with the music and he would come to the tables and play in your face because space is tight to move around. While he was great too, if I'm eating my food, you blowing your sax in my ear isn't pleasant. The space is too small for something like that. I believe they also charge what they call "fees" for that. No, I don't really find that pleasant nor do I want to be charged $30 for it. The restroom is super dark. I won't expand on that. Lastly, we wanted to go dance and have fun upstairs but we were watching groups of people go up then straight back downstairs. The lounge used to be a great time drinking and dancing from my understanding. It had a great mix of house, hip hop, old school and different types of music to dance to. Well, that is completely gone now. There were 6-7 people in there sitting and listening to Latin salsa and it wasn't even good salsa music. I actually felt embarrassed for the place. Maybe covid got the best of their DJ? They couldn't find a better one? Maybe people are afraid to go dance in a closed room? But no, people were going straight up then straight down and out. At least 40 people that we saw while eating dinner at 10. Heartbreaking. However, a lovely woman came and bought us drinks and made us smile. We left ten minutes later. All in all, I'd say if you want AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE and don't care about the loud music playing or don't want to speak to the people your eating with this place IS INCREDIBLE! I'll be back for the food and the revamp of the upstairs area and pray the house, hip hop and mix of fun a** music you can shake a booty to comes back! When I do, I'll post a new review.
