Got in before 7:00 so sat at bar for happy hour cocktails. Sat outside in this historic venue open space.Food was good and service was fair for 20% included tip. Atmosphere was fair the outside was empty but historic building brings the charm. If in the area recommend to try. It is best to go before 7 to enjoy happy hour drinks at the bar. You cannot take drinks from bar to your table. We enjoyed something different and good. Fried chicken since it has the sauce was not crispy, Mac and cheese was very cheesy, wings had the perfect hotness, expected more from corn bread and biscuits.

Second time to Red Rooster celebrating a birthday. Food is good, try different things, however I will recommend the BBQ oxtails. (now, I am Jamaican so a big critic. I was Pleasantly surprised) melt in your mouth and Flavorful. Only complaint was the noise level. The music is loud so the noise level is loud. But good beats to vibe to. Service is good depending on who you get that evening. (no pun intended) . People are people. Just keep smiling and brighten someone's day!

The food is decent and the restaurant is beautiful. We were out in the ‘garden’ area and unfortunately our meal was disrupted by an impromptu large and loud gathering of the staff around the bar area. We will go back and give it another go.

Went to Red Rooster for a birthday happy hour on a Saturday afternoon. It was a group of about 20 of us. We sat at the high tables next to the bar and had a GREAT time.Going anywhere with more than 4 people can be a real hassle. But let me be the first to say that the staff at Red Rooster handled it beautifully. Both bartenders Juan & Maye really showed us a great time. Their attention to detail, and constant attention to each of us made the day.Red Rooster impressed me several times - the food, the happy hour menu and more than anything how great the staff was.If you're looking for a good spot to host a large group look no further, Red Rooster is it.ProTip - order an Espresso Martini with tequila reposado from Maye

Best thing going for this place is the atmosphere. The food is mediocre at best. Its presentation is sloppy and came lukewarm. If your looking for a place to chill have a few drinks and listen to good music, this is your place but if you are looking for more this may not be the place for you.
The food was awesome! Our original bartender wasn't attentive so we closed our tab and sat down at a table. Our service from this point was top notch, this made our experience rise from 2 ? to a respective 5 ? without thinking about it.
