We were on holiday last week in the Coconut Grove area of Miami and had a fantastic time. Liked the look of this place as it looked like a good fun sports type pub similar to back home in Scotland. Glad we did as it was great fun sitting outside on the street, watching the various characters go by whilst enjoying cocktails and I have to say eating the best chilli nachos I have ever had!! (I’ve had a lot!!) We returned another 2 times as we had such a good laugh and also to see the absolutely delightful Kristin, who on each visit made such a fuss of my wife and I. An absolute treasure for the owners, Kristin made us so welcome and if we ever happen to return to Miami, we will gladly eat and drink there again!!!

Absolutely love, love, love this spot. The Tuesday specials are unmatched for tacos and I find myself continuously being a repeat customer. All of them - all 6 for $2.50 each - are super-duper flavorful and packed with fixin's. One of my favorite parts of my visit is adding those yummy hot sauces that are served tableside. Best tacos have to be either the Mahi Mahi which can be blackened or the Pulled pork tacos. This place also serves different Hurricane cocktails that can be anywhere from easy and sweet for those that don't drink often or a massive kick in guts for those who need something a bit more stiff. Our waitress with the dark hair that usually works Tuesdays is always super cool and such a great part of the Sandbar. She is super personable and efficient as a server. The inside is filled with tv's for those that watch sports and love A/C. The outside patio has a nice garden feel that compliments the essence of Coconut Grove. Taco lovers rejoice!

Came int to try their tacos Tuesday special. $2.50 Tacos all good for bar food. Good amount of filling. You can choose from 6 types of meats. Pulled pork & mahi-mahi. Our waitress was awesome! Friendly, kind, talkative, well groomed. Loves her style! Made conversation with us too. It was appreciated. They have outside seating but we stayed inside. They have YB's everywhere and provide good amount of seating. Nice and clean. Staff looks like they all get along and are friendly with eachother & customers. We will be back again.

I went here with family. I saw that they had outside seating but decided to go inside since it was a bit cool. Absolutely love the food. Our server was prompt and attentive and made sure we were straight and that everything was fine with us. Definitely will return soon.

Sandbar is the best place in the Grove. It's old school fishing shack feel is amazing. Sha waited on us and was the best. So attentive to all our needs. The highlight of the day was Taylors ultimate sauce used on the Bahia fish tacos. Wow and double wow.
