4/19/24, I ordered take out from Shorty's as I have done in the past. My first clue was the place was empty at 6:30p on a Friday. A $30 full rack baby back ribs dinner (some fries, a tiny cup of cole slaw, slice of bread) with a side (one) $4.50 corn on the cob. My husband ate one rib and refused to eat the rest. The ribs were AWFUL, tough and dry. It was hard to even cut the ribs apart. They should fall apart. I called and spoke to the manager to complain and all he could do was comp a full rack for another time. I had ordered thru the Shorty's website and unbeknown to me the order processed thru Door Dash.

I never write bad reviews, if place is bad I prefer not to hurt the business but I been coming to this place since I was young and got to say that my last experience was horrible, ribs were so hard and thr chicken you can bounce from a wall, please bring back the falling of the bone ribs and delicious chicken that you can actually rip apart with my hands with great taste,

A must go place if you want delicious BBQ. My husband was talking about this place for years before we visited! The BBQ sauce was sweet but so good. Brisket sandwich, baked beans, and the Rib platter were all great! So much food we took some home.
