Sunday Brunch to celebrate. Local small restaurant with next door bakery.Different concept and good food. We tried different appetizers and entrees and all were good.A place to escape from the usual and try some new combinations they offer.Corn bread and empanadas were amazing.

This place is really overrated, we came here hoping the reviews will do some justice, well, sadly we were wrong, the service is terrible, only to young ladies were in charge, playing with their phones, and they behaved like they didn't want to be there, check the date on the receipt attached, Friday afternoon, place was dead, we were the only ones there, and still service was terrible. Food is below average, good presentation but that's about it, pork belly was the only plate we enjoyed, everything else was stale, flavorless and semi cold, I also found the portions below average compared to other places, a tablespoon of coleslaw, really?. Be very careful when you pay your bill, I left a custom amount of tip due to the quality of the service only to find out that at the end it defaulted to a higher tip by itself. I consider this place below average compared to other similar restaurants, if you craving BBQ do yourself a favor and go to Shrivers. We are definitely not coming back.Edit: I went back to complaint about the over charge, they were apologetic, owned their mistake and gave us the overcharged amount refund.

They have very good service, it seems to me that the place is too small for the music so loud, I didn't like the food, the ribs have a strange flavor , the sauce over powers the rib flavor, what I can say is that the french fries were delicious.

We had excellent service, got there at opening for lunch. Had a combo plate and I was disappointed in the brisket. Everything else was delicious. A very cute place, way out there for me, I came from Homestead. It shares space with the owners bakery. Probably why the cornbread was amazing.

This place is a hidden gem. I’m not a huge BBQ person but EVERYTHING here is good. The brisket burger is really special. i’ve come for brunch and dinner and they don’t disappoint. The pulled pork or brisket eggs benedict’s are both amazing with the corn bread as a base. Desserts are great, their smoked flan and ice cream are very interesting and unique. great service and atmosphere. 10/10

Great local spot. Had brunch with wifey. Great selection spot for carnavors. Meat where amazing, eggs were perfect made to order. There cornbread version was sweeter like dulce de leche was add. Brisket was tender n break down in your mouth. The cheader sausage was okay. Had mimosas that were pretty. They hand croques... damn so good.. Portion were big for the price. Have to comeback and try their amazing selection of Enpanadas and tequinto.. lots of baked items to like COOKIES..mmmmOnly cons.. limited seating inside.

Worst chilaquiles ever, the cold tortilla, the two tablespoons of cold sauce, the cold pork, the cold egg, I had to ask them to put it in the microwave. It surprises me a lot since the owners know Mexican traditions. I ordered the non-alcoholic bloody Mary, horrible and the service was bad. What helped were the empanadas and quiche. Please check out her chilaquiles recipe. Thank you

Started with the croquettes and they were a great way to start. Moved on to the Trifongo (green plantains, sweet plantains & yucca) with brisket and it made our heart sing. We didn’t get enough brisket so order 1/2 pound of brisket with a side of yucca fries and we were so glad we did. Finished with the empanada with burnt ends which were absolutely fantastic. Three by Wade was a great Cabernet and Leddy was a terrific server. We went to the other side of the restaurant and bought a guava pastry and guava empanada to go. And also had the most perfect colada and cortadito. The only negative was when we arrived they said there was only one table available which was the two top next to the kitchen (& we had a reservation) And there were five open tables when we sat down. The two 4 tops next to us had only 2 people sit there in all of the time we were there. Given we kept ordering and ordering, it would have been nice to have a table with more room. Ah yes, and I can always use more guava! ?

They recommended this place to eat mofongo and I tell you that yes... That mofongo was delicious, we will surely go again because we liked the place a lot, the service is very good, although the place is somewhat small it is very cozy,... they only make the mofongo on Saturdays, but we will go try other dishes... oh and I also recommend the Flam with that smoky flavor, it was delicious!!!

Went on valentines for dinner with my wife . Let me tell you the experience was amazing since l walked in. I was greeted and hosted by the owner. She treated us like family and was very attentive to us. The food came out really fast lol glad it did because we were hungry. Everything was amazing especially the meats and the Mac and cheese. It’s also a nice ambiance as well. Fully recommend coming here !! Thank you for a wonderful experience! ??

Discovered this restaurant yesterday and decided to try it with the fam, walked in and we were accommodated even though we did not have a reservation (it gets busy in there). Service was excellent, very clean restaurant, food was amazing and good portions. We had the platter, so much food we had to box some and take it home. Will return soon
