This Black owned restaurant has DELICIOUS soul food. We had the rib tips, shrimp & grits, mac& cheese, collard greens, black eyed peas, yellow rice and corn bread. Everything was amazing. The rasberry lemonade called the Flop was sweet and refreshing too.

Great customer service and outstanding food. The grilled Dreamfire Shrimp were tasty and cooked to perfection. A must stop if in Miami.

The food wS very well presented and hot. The location was very confidently located clean and wheelchair accessible! I chose an outside table, I was alone but three pesky flies stayed the entire meal. I ordered the "Flop" that I had heard and read so much about. It was refreshing, tasty but just half and half lemonade and iced tea. I ordered the seafood cakes despite the less than stellar reviews that t urged out to be true. Fake seafood does not cut it. I would have paid more for real seafood. The Mac n cheese was good, really good for what it was. What it was not was real Mac n cheese baked like a souflee, it was just large macaroni twists with a lot of cheese baked in the oven. It was hot, cheesy and tasty. The collard greens were very good. Some tastes don't like the heavy vinegar peppery taste but they were excellent to me. Iloved them! The service was mixed, the young lady took my order and served my drink quickly, another young man came in a reasonable length of time but never saw her again for at least 45 minutes and only saw the young man when came out to smoke a cigarette. You should NEVER smoke in the vicinity of diners! I am a non smoker and found this non appealing. Overall judging solely as a tourist, it was ok. Nothing special but I can see myself frequenting the spot if Iived in Overtown. As a New Yorker, I found the check to be very low but it was justified by a lack luster experience. I would have paid much more for real not frozen seafood, I didn't invite the chicken flock or flies to dinner and would not return as a NYer. So the review is split right down the middle. The presentation was great!

Food was salty my Jerk chicken pasta had extra toppings i didn't know about. The brown stew and yellow rice was salty and had no flavor.

The food was ok. I had bq wings, and it came with two sizes. I had mac-n-cheese and Greens and side yellow rice. It was average, but the price was a little over price. I had two dessert sweet potatoes, pie, and banana pudding. Sweet potatoes pie wasn't really sweet and not enough flavor for my liking ? I asked the waitress is the banana pudding was homemade, like from scratch, and she replied yes.?? it tasted like banned pudding from the box and put 3 waffle cookies whole to decorate ??‍♂️ the dessert, gets a 2 for me.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The menu is small yet we were torn on what to get because it all sounded soooooo good! We decided on the rib tips & the seafood cake meal.

My Wife and I and two friends went to Lil Greenhouse this week after reading a writeup in the Miami Herald. What a pleasant surprise We started with the Dream Shrimp and Buffalo Wings Both delicious. For our mains we had BBQ chicken and Ribs With the mains you get two sides each. Collard Greens, Fries, Black Eyed Peas, Cabbage, and a lot more, Again delicious. I hate fall off the bone ribs. These were perfect. Large portions a very reasonably priced. The son and daughter of the owners did all the work Lovely young people. Definitely return.

Lil greenhouse is a fancy soulful restaurant. It’s not a very big place so make sure you make reservations especially for brunch. We went there for brunch. They had a DJ that was playing music doing branch the food was very good. We had chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits for brunch. The staff was very nice and friendly..

Omg...let me tell you! The food and service is awesome. My brother took me here and being half cubana y jamacina, I can really attest to the deliciousness! She made dumplings! Real ones! Talking about kiss the cook?! No...Kiss the feet of the cook! Superb, nothing less.

Chef Karim Bryant's ribs are special as they have great taste and cooked to perfection. His secret hot sauce for the shrimp was also really good. Will have to come back as many other interesting things in the menu like their burger.

What a great stay! Ordered great food, got to see some beautiful artwork, listened to chill music, and the service was phenomenal. Cute little restaurant with free parking. We tried everything on the menu, but save room for the Banana Pudding!

In order to remain polite , I could have given the money spent on a homeless person. I over heard the owner say " farm to table" . Lacking flavor. Rice did not taste fresh. The fries were place in the oil prematurely (oily fries) . Owner was there greeted everyone but us!
