Seriously the yummiest fresh sashimi and sushi. We enjoyed the Wakame salad and riceless Salmon roll which we switched in Hamachi - all was super fresh and exquisite! Thank you to our knowledgeable server Gregory who cared for our ever need. Whenever in Coconut Grove Miami FL this place is a must!

It's truly charming when you inquire about their flavors, and the attentive manager takes the time to explain how they cut fresh fish daily and offers recommendations to tailor the menu to your palate. Special thanks to the sushi chef who treated us to a tasting of a potential new roll with salmon and ikura…never tire of returning here!First review:Amazing dinner! More to desire the local is great and the decor inside is nice. The food was basic and lacked some flavors (the rice was moist), on par with franchised sushi spots.

Such a great vibe! All the items I tried are great. However, the following items that have a (*) are a must try. Especially if you are not a fish person.- Habachi tiradito*- crispy tuna*- truffle roll- Puro salmon- Salmon toro sashimi (**)— is marinated like stake- truffle edemame*- eel sauce is good. The consistency is different because they have their own twist- ceviche (*)- passion fruit cheesecake (*)- flan- drinks: wine, sake, beers , cocktails with sake and agave premium winewine Cabernet franc (Loren Qu)——- drinks: try the “ One of those”! If you like coffee, you’ll love it. (****)Have fun!

My family and I ate there last Friday March 15, 2024, we live in Tampa FL and we travel to Miami FL (291 miles) to enjoy the delicious and incomparable flavor of a good variety of foods of dishes, drinks and desserts, the staff who work there have a good attitude and excellent service. In the kitchen the food is prepared instantly and with fresh ingredients. But the best thing is when enjoying the of sushi dishes is a great experience that I describe as fully enjoying a range of flavors that balance and mix perfectly, leaving an explosion of unforgettable flavors on the palate. I recommend it 100%

This is our third time at Varsol. Each time we have had a lovely experience. The drinks, food, service, and sake in particular are all exceptional. We have brought friends here who have also enjoyed themselves and left with nothing but good things to say. Two thumbs up all around! Miguel is a top tier bartender/server and has given us fantastic recommendations and service. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested.
The server lady (the tall lady who served us) totally ruined the night for us. I felt that she was not welcoming, to us in particular. (She seemed to be alright to the table next to us.)No smile, no eye contact, completely unwelcoming, we started becoming a bit uncomfortable with her. When we ordered the dessert she said our dessert will take 30mins but assured us that the main dish wont take long. We ended up waiting more than 30mins just for the main dish, and again waiting more for the dessert!!Then she forgot about our soup that was supposed to come with the main course. She had already served the next table the same soup who ordered much later than us!! We had to remind her by the end of the meal and she brought it to us soullessly and completely unsorry. No one was blaming her but she could have atleast been nice enough to be apologetic about the continued delay and mistakes.Same thing with the main, the 4 ppl next table got the food while we had to wait much longer for the food.The dessert that actually took more than 30 minutes was wayyyyy too sweet, I felt like it was gonna give me diabetes.Again the server when we tried to get the bill, she was flat out staring into the card machine to pressure us into tipping her well. First time having such an experience! Despite how unhappy we were with her service we ofcourse did tip her but will never go there again nor recommend the place to anyone.Atmosphere is ok but way too loud.
