Good place but it doesn't have too many tables to sit down to eat food and listen to the stories of yesteryear from the locals! ??‍♂️

Would not recommend ceviche, although shrimp was good.

An absolute favorite in Miami restaurants. We were here three times during our trip and will be back again.Simple and tasty food. Everything is super fresh.Fried squid, ropa vieja and arugula salad will forever be in our hearts ?.We highly recommend the ribs (very tender, perfectly cooked). The Pina Colada here is the most delicious you've ever tried.Be sure to try the hot chocolate.Breakfast menu until 11:30, then regular menu. The wait for a table is first come, first serve, usually no more than 25 minutes. There is a bar and a bakery on the street, who's been waiting for a long time. Large parking.

My wife and I were eagerly anticipating our visit to this restaurant as we had tried to dine there before, only to be deterred by the long line. On that occasion, we ended up at La Carreta where we had a wonderful experience. This time, the line was manageable so we decided to wait, but we noticed that many Spanish-speaking guests who arrived after us were seated before us. When my wife inquired about our place in line, the hostess assured us that we were next in line.Upon entering the restaurant, we were disappointed by the dated décor that resembled a cheap cantina, but we were focused on the food above all else. My wife ordered the croquetas variadas and Beef tongue, while I chose the oxtail. The server, who spoke little English, took our orders and then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening, despite being attentive to the other Spanish-speaking guests. We had to repeatedly call him over for water refills, and he never brought the croquetas my wife had ordered. The beef tongue was decent, but the steamed vegetables were mushy and cold.As for my oxtail, I was disappointed to find that after removing the bones and fat, there was very little meat left. This was especially frustrating given the high price of $27 for the dish. When we asked for our bill and inquired about the missing croquetas, the server simply shrugged and he never apologized. Our experience at the restaurant did not meet our expectations, especially considering the positive reviews we had read and the long drive we had made to get there. We left feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return.

It is like time has not passed, this restaurant looks like it is from the 80s -90s the mirrors look great, but it might be time for some upgrades. Their food was ok, I really like that they give you crispy pork skin and the Cuban coffee is sooo good!

Dined at Versailles again last night and it was not a great experience. We waited outside for 20+ minutes, the lines was quite long, but moving fast. We went to inquire about our turn when 3 other parties which arrived after us were seated before us. We were invited inside when the waiting area was almost empty. Our waiter took the order and the entrees arrived quickly. Sadly, the appetizers were forgotten. No matter how much we tried to get our waiter's attention, we were ignored. He was very attentive and prompt with other patrons and we admired his skills, while wondering why he treated us with his back only.We finished eating and the plates stayed on the table for about 15-20 mins before the waiter finally come to clean up. He didn't ask how was the food or if we wanted to order anything else. I mentioned the apetizers and his reaction was to lift his hands defensively and pull a face. No apologies or genuine reaction from him.The food was mediocre, I had the beef tongue with plaintains and vegetables and my husband had the oxtail. My veggies were cold, overcooked and tasted stale - inedible. My husband's oxtail was excessively fat, very little meat on thr bones. Peas and rice was good. This was one of the most unsatisfactory experiences eating out in Miami

I loved the rice and beans. The seafood was good as well. Just did not like the steak at all, very chewy and tasteless.
