Service was slow. Waited 30 minutes for the food and we had to ask a few times for drink refills. And for a sports bar, they only had bowling on 2 of the 5 tvs. Food was good though.

We absolutely love Dalton’s wings. Best around. The only reason I’m giving a 4-star review is because all of their other side offerings are not great. They’d really make their menu even better if they did fresh cut fries, homemade salsa, etc. These changes would not be super costly and I would pay more for their sides if they did this. Staff is great, place and kitchen is very clean. Highly recommend for their wings.

There is a saying that “you only get one chance to make a first impression”, we tried Dalton's for the first-time last night and sadly we were not impressed. The facility is a nice one and it has potential. The food though was not up to expectations with one exception. We started with an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. They were average at best but at least they did come out quickly and were hot. Unfortunately, the wait staff failed to give us any plates or utensils to eat with. So that was the start of a bad experience and if I had it to do over again, I would have asked for the check and driven somewhere else right then. Our waitress always seemed to be in a hurry to leave. She would occasionally stop by to see if we needed anything but would run away before anyone could really answer her. When the food came, things did not improve.I ordered the Green Monster burger and when asked what side I wanted I ordered the baked potato. I did this because I saw on the menu that they have several stuffed potato dishes as "Local Favorites" and I unfortunately thought this would mean they had good baked potatoes. When my food came out, it was cold and old. There is a minimum temperature at which hot food is to be maintained and served in a restaurant to prevent bacteria growth and other things. Everything on my plate was significantly below that threshold and the potato was even worse. I don't know when they baked it but it certainly was not within the last few hours before we got there and honestly, I can't really say that it was even baked on the same day we visited (Apr 25). The potato was that bad. So, my meal was a train wreck. The rest of the food for our table was slightly better. My brother got the mahi-mahi dinner, it was overcooked and dry. My father got the spaghetti special; it was average at best. My daughter got the Philly Cheesesteak, again average, nothing special. She did enjoy the squash she got as a side to that though. The one bright spot was the Shrimp and Grits my wife got. They were delicious, the grits were creamy and the flavor was very good. Sadly, even that dish was marred by coming out a full 10 minutes after the other food but thankfully and possibly due to its tardiness, it did come out hot as it should. One wonders how a place that serves food this way stays in business. They looked to be fairly busy and I have driven by many times to seen it similarly busy. I don’t know if this regular business is a function of them having a captive audience because this is the only sit-down restaurant within several miles of many, many neighborhoods or if our experience was a one off and they usually do better. So, in conclusion, I would not recommend going here for anything other than beer and bar snacks or, if you have no choice and must eat dinner here, try the shrimp and grits.
