Ordered a combo basket, wasn’t told it came with shrimp and fried fish instead of the chicken we asked for, until it was brought out to us. $40 for less than 6 tiny pieces of mediocre fried fish bites and 5 fried shrimp with the tail still attached. Obviously not our waitresses fault and she was nice about it, but we should’ve been informed.

We had a fantastic lunch here. We've eaten in a few beachfront restaurants in this area and this one is our favorite. The grouper has large white flakes and the french fries can probably feed two people.

The food was okay nothing to brag about but if you are wanting to stay at the pool and if not go out for food it will do. The drinks were not good, servers where nice and the view is very pretty!

Absurdly slow inattentive service

Very overpriced, and the drinks just aren’t that great! If I pay stadium prices for a drink, I expect it to be excellent. $16 for a Pina Colada that tastes like ice and barely any liquor? No thank you.

Popped up here for lunch while on the beach. Service was good. Fries were the best part. When we were cashing out, they asked our room # we said we were paying with card, and he said I still need room #. When we said we weren't staying there just wanted to grab lunch he seemed frustrated/annoyed. It's not a busy time so I would have thought they'd welcome any business.

Super friendly and attentive service from Kim! Very convenient location for Hilton guests - between pool and beach. Nice menu options. Firecracker Shrimp wrap was refreshing and had a nice kick. Nachos were huge!Update- they are also the “Sand Bar” - same menu and great service!

Alexis is the BEST. She is hands-down the best server we could have asked for. Never once did we need for a refill. She was informed on the menu and even offered us fun facts on the creation of a favorite drink recipie. This girl is management material!

We came to Sandestin Hilton last year and truly enjoyed it. We've been looking for an opportunity to go back and it looks like that's happening in the next couple of weeks. One of the highlights is Barefoot's. We prefer to dine outside anytime we get the opportunity and Barefoot's didn't disappoint. Yes, it was crowded when we went there, but we found a great place to hunker down with a view of the beach and once we were settled in we were well taken care of. The food was surprisingly really good. For it being more of a hotel restaurant that's pumping out thousands of orders a day, we didn't expect much. Yes, they could have used more help but that's with every restaurant these days. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review.

Walked with whole family here along beach. Was supposed to be open but no one here.Checked the website and google listing prior to going here but once we arrived the restaurant was open but no one was there.Tried to eat inside but no one was available to help us at restaurant and were told that we could order food from some other place and sit at tables if we wanted to.

Great experience, beautiful view. Nice staff. Bacon burger was well seasoned, fries were delicious. All around great place to eat/drink.

If your staying at the Hilton I would recommend this place. It is located right in the pool area. The blackened grouper sandwich was very good. The burgers are big enough to split for two people. There is not a kid menu or portions. The drinks were very good but can cost between $10 and $20 per drink. Very expensive and not that great of a view of the beach. I would only go here if you don't feel like fighting the traffic to head into Destin. Which could take up to 45 min during peak season.
