READ THE REVIEWS! Absolutely miserable night for my wife and our group. The staff could care less we waited almost an hour for us to be seated past our reservation time.

Emeril should be embarrassed. If this place represents him...I've lost all respect. Here's an example...I asked the waitress for a key lime pie to go. She said no. BTW we had just dropped 2

Beautiful restaurant. Food was presented well but SMALL portions!!! The dessert cookie was overdone & blah - would NOT recommend. The wedge salad was very good. We were celebrating my daughters 10th birthday on the day, the server dropped the cotton candy and served her then the firework alone bringing the cotton candy after which didn’t make for a great birthday video or photo that I as a mom was anxious to capture. It would be nice for common sense to take place once in a while in the world and for people to consider that a $300 dinner deserves to be on point or if mistakes are made for them to be made up for. Little things matter. A place requiring this sort of investment, is obligated to live up to the standard they set for themselves!

The poke bowl had unripe abacado and the wantons were stale. Otherwise the experience was okay. The staff seemed new. My previous experience was better. Idk if we will be back. The upside, the fresh catch was on point and the flavors melded well.

We walked in on March 20 around 6:30pm only to be told they were a “reservations only” place. This was a little strange as there were maybe four or five tables taken in the entire restaurant. We walked by about a hour later and it was more full but there were still plenty of tables empty. There were also reservation slots available on open table for every half hour until close. Not sure why they wouldn’t just work us in if there is that much availability in the reservation slot. I understand that the reservations can help manage kitchen load and it is possible that there were just a ton of no shows that evening. Either way, we decided to try someplace else for dinner.

Our first Brunch experience here, and Emeril's first Brunch service of the season. Our food was delicious (really good variety) and we truly enjoyed the live music. Bloody Mary was delicious and I enjoyed my belgian waffle, rosemary biscuits and blackened crawfish deviled eggs.

We went to Emerils on this specific day for the banana cream cake sold every Saturday. This Saturday they chose not to sell it for no reason. They also were advertising their grilled crab claws on promotional hand outs and also weren't selling them. The restaurant was overly half empty and we were sat in a back corner away from any natural light.

We dined at this location on Friday 3/15/24 for my son's 9th birthday. Our 2 servers were very nice, but the one lady who brought out our food was horrible! We ordered a dozen raw oysters, grilled oysters, pork chops, tuna poke bowl, filet mignon (for our son), and bottle of wine. When the lady brought out my son's filet, the garlic butter on the filet had fallen off and she pushed it back on with her finger and put the plate down in front of my son. She did this right in front of me and walked away. I immediately brought it to our server's attention and she was very nice and apologetic about it, and took it away. The nasty lady who touched it, had the audacity to bring it back out and said she promise she didn't touch the butter with her finger. I told her I saw her and she insisted that she did it with the meat temperature probe. I clearly saw her do it and she basically called me a liar because she kept insisting that she didn't use her finger. Like I'm supposed to just take her word for it even though she did it right in front of me? I wasn't ok with that filet so she took it to the back and about 20 minutes later, supposedly had another filet for my son. Instead of just setting down the "new" filet, she stood there with it and again promised that she didn't touch the butter on the first filet. I was so fed up with how unprofessional she was that I took the plate from her and said just go. It wasn't as if we were trying to get something for free. I just wanted her to do the right thing and just bring my son another filet. As soon as we finished our dinner, they basically kicked us out. They immediately brought out our check without asking if we wanted dessert, coffee, or anything else. I guess we, as paying customers, are not allowed to call them out on anything, regardless of what happens at this restaurant. Even though we had a bad experience with that lady, our servers were nice so we still tipped them well since it wasn't their fault. We just won't ever dine at this restaurant again. We've never experienced anything like this, ever! We go out to eat all the time, to many high end restaurants too.

I ordered the grouper sandwich while dining with 7 family and friends. We had reservations but had to wait a short while. After being seated it took a bit for the server to take our order. The entire table received their food all except me, the sandwich order. The server didn’t notice that I was the only one without food until we inquired. The manager finally put a bowl of gumbo in front of me (not a gumbo lover) he said he didn’t want me to be sitting there with no food..( yes that was a nice approach) It took 25 minutes for my sandwich to arrive ! The table was finished. There were several other issues at the table also. Needless to say after everyone at the table sharing some of their food with me I wasn’t as hungry after a 25 min wait. The server never asked how we wanted the checks so when it arrived it took a while to correct it. Now here is the kicker. My sandwich was charged in full. Oh I forgot tell you it was $40 sandwich only!! I paid extra for my sides. I of course paid my bill in full. Upon leaving I spoke to the manager and told him I was unhappy about the incident and he apparently had some kitchen issues to address. And expressed my unhappiness in paying IN FULL for a sandwich that arrived after all of the table was finished. I do believe this could have been handled differently. He was nice but all he said was sorry. I feel like the upscale restaurant that Emeril’s is should have better service and follow up when things go wrong. We have eaten there serval times but I will tell you it may be awhile if ever after this incident. As one of my family said “that just wasn’t a very fun meal tonight “. I agree!

My filet came out room temp. The whipped potatoes were hotter than the steak. They brought out a little appetizer that was new potatoes with shredded pork that was cold. The pineapple upside down cornbread was soggy. Food itself was mediocre at best and definitely not worth 75.00+ per person.

Food should have been much better for an Emeril's restaurant. Pasta dish was $42 and it was a small portion of pasta with a little crab meat. I had the grilled red snapper which was $37 plus a $10 side and I've had better fish off of a hot bar at the grocery store. It is a shame, the ambiance and service were both awesome but the food was not. We are from New Orleans so maybe we are spoiled but $260 for 3 people and no one was impressed.

We've eaten at one of Emeril's restaurants before. The menu then was extensive. The choices were intriguing. Our choices were spot on, giving us a new level of flavors. BUT, our experience THIS TIME at Emeril's Coastal was underwhelming. Their menu had been cut as had their serving times. Of the few items available, you could go to just about any restaurant for the same item. I had the fish and chips expecting a level above. Not so. Culver's has two fish options that were both much better than I had that evening. My wife had stuffed shells. They were great but where was the shrimp with the fish? And at $8 apiece for the ravioli sized shells.... Not justified. And what happened to all the amazing desserts that they used to have? The service was great as was the restaurant.... Just wish the food was comparable.

We have been to Emeril'S on numerous occasions. Early on the service as well as the food were a little bit disappointing but now I have to say it is one of our favorites, the food and service have improved dramatically and it's a pleasure to come here.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish which is not what we usually have when visiting Emerils. The food was good overall but the delivery wasn't in a timely manner which made for an unpleasant dining experience. There were issues from the start with the drink order(out of the main ingredient of a featured cocktail on the menu) to the appetizer orders and then the entrees in which one was delivered after all others were finished eating. The kitchen took the liberty of substituting crab meat for shrimp in my entree without asking if this would be acceptable. Waiter was pleasant but had too many tables at once to provide adequate service. After all of these issues, the check comes and is not correct ( overcharged for double entree)and no offer to compensate for the entree that was delivered very late. Adjustments were made for the over charge and this took over 20minutes of waiting. A bill in excess of $500 is a hard pill to swallow for such an unpleasant and frustrating dining experience.
