Nice property. Secure area. We went at Christmas, so it was super quiet. Clean property and every employee we came in contact with was super nice. Would definitely stay on property again.

Great place to vacation...only downfall for me...the gym is not on the property have to drive to the gym and it closes at 8:00 and it's not 24 hours...

Tops’l has gone downhill since Vacasa management has taken over. Our family used to own a unit here which is why it was very apparent the lack of upkeep. Pool is dungy, trash overflowing, elevator button to go up was broken off which meant you had to hope someone came down for you to get in the elevator. Only nice thing is the access to a nice beach. If you leave anything, be prepared they charge $25 just to “look for it”. We left a pillow on the bed which clearly would be readily spotted, but it basically would be $40 to recover with shipping. Terrible money gauging management, your money is better spent elsewhere.

Horrible experience, rented from Best Beach Getaway .Never told use the place was under renovations, dirt, noise, construction workers. Workers were on scaffolding looking at us, workers coming into the unit to paint, stunk up the whole unit. Offered a refund then once we left they never reimbursed us anything. Horrible way to spend a 40th wedding anniversary....never going back again.

Wonderful tennis lessons & clinics. Amazing massage therapist Cat on site. Beware of booking through anyone other than Vacasa as pictures were NOT what we got on Booking.com- showed a full galley kitchen & got a half fridge and microwave and 30 year old coffee maker. Sad ocean view and barely could see it. Other than that GREAT Shittle service to beach & $50 a day to rent chairs & umbrella. Good food & drinks onsite. Wonderful security service to help us when we locked out of rooms!

I had suite 1402. Comfy beds, amazing balcony with terrific views, lovely suite. Beware, there is no way to stream anything on the TV's, just basic horrible cable. The sofa is kinda old and so low to the floor you can't hardly stand up from it. While there is an extra large tub with jets, they would not turn on. Still a nice tub. Otherwise no complaints.

The condo was not clean. Only limited areas are you allowed to enjoy the beach. The "free" tennis courts wound up costing us several hundred dollars. The management simply did not care. My advice is to stay elsewhere.

Amazing resort!! Tucked all the way in the back of the Topsl resort, the Tides did NOT disappoint! We stayed in room 304 and the view speak for itself. Friendly staff to make check in smooth, and always a message away. If you’ve ever been to the Destin area, you know that the public beaches are PACKED! Topsl has private beach access so you ever have to worry about that. Awesome gulf side pool, and food bar. Definitely recommend for an amazing getaway!
The Tides never disappoints! The water color and clarity is the best around. There's a poolside restaurant and bar for when you need something but don't want to go back to the room. Definitely recommend Topsl Tides! Lots of shopping nearby including the outlet mall. Check it out for yourself.

Tops'l TidesPros - Amazing views from beachfront facing units like 1005 ?Balcony is outstanding, like a front row ticket to nature's concert!?Condo was LARGE a, well equipped with everything and super clean!?Tennis and fitness center is fantastic. A must have experience to play on those courts for any tennis fan and the staff is super friendly. Always making you feel like they're happy to see you. ?The gym is fully equipped with everything you need for a total workout ( cardio or weight training)?Cons - Prices / room rates are pandemic insane !?Beach Chair / umbrella rental service is probably the worst part of anything. Around $70 for an umbrella with two chairs for the day but the bad part is that they suspend service for any semblance of inclement weather. We had the rental for 2 hours , then the wind set in and they locked up all the umbrellas. As a newbie, you would not know this because others who brought their own continued to use it. The beach staff is young teens who treat this as a very casual occurrence ( like it's no big deal if you didn't get to use what you just rented). There was no danger of any umbrellas flying off that we could see from the others using their own. Would be nice of Tops'l fixes this one blemish. Or the apartment owners provide some basic beach gear like chairs and umbrellas. ?

We have been traveling here for the last 30 years. Since VACASA got involved with this property, it is all downhill. Such a shame. There is no concept of loyalty or the caliber of people who first out this place on the map. Time to move on to a new location down the coast.
