Absolutely a fantastic place to eat. Wonderful friendly service. Pizzas and pasta were delicious. House wine full bodied for a red. Sat outside was added plus. Highly recommend. My only small issue, mention prices of specials.

A very mixed experience. The restaurant and the service is actually nice. You can feel an Italian-inspired atmosphere. The food, however, was overall terrible. To start with the positive the pasta was good. My Bucatini All'Amatriciana were al dente and well seasoned. The big disappointment was the pizzas. It has nothing in common with Italian pizzas and I can judge that as a regular traveler to Italy. The dough was thin, but bland and not crispy - more reminiscent of a really terrible tortilla - even the nice oven is of no use if you have no idea what you're doing. The pizza topping is also poor, a pizza crudo & rocket prepared with Parma ham and some spicy rocket. There was some bad ham on it - really disgusting. So overall not recommended.

This is true authentic Italian food. Don’t expect your typical American Italian dishes, they are not here. But you get home made cooking with fresh and local ingredients. Don’t expect accommodation to your taste for items on the menu. Owner is Italian and keeps his herritage, so you will not “ get it your way.” I am a loyal customer now after my first visit. Hands down the best Italian ( I f you know real food), restaurant in Naples. Thank you Marco!

LOVE! Great food, Great vibe, great location (near downtown Naples and Tin City). No trouble finding parking that night even though it is season. Went on Tuesday night-service was slow-they said staffing issues. This is a common occurrence in our area. Woody our server was good though! The hostesses said they don’t do anything “special” for birthdays, (for example-if you want to do a dessert with a candle you need to bring your own candle) we loved our dinner, but food is on the saltier side-that was agreed upon by all. Small, intimate but lively, very nice cosy feel. We sat in the back of the bar room. Lots of TV’s. Great for all occasion’s. I wouldn’t go with a large group though. 8-10 would be tops. My daughter loves Minos. Went for her bday. Casual dress is fine. Great breadParking: We were able to find parking. Could be a little difficult on a weekend. There is a free garage near 5th Ave, but would be a bit of a walk.Kid-friendliness: Fine. Louder place so I’d say ok forKids.

We noticed food options changed? You don't have some things you used to? Food was good. Very dark and noisy had to scream to talk. You list having Gnocchi below yet it was not on the menu?

Yummy homemade pastas, lightly and rightly done calamari, fresh salads, and delicious pizza. While the menu is a bit limited (not a lot of protein choices) it is a wonderful, welcoming

Incredible dining experience! Our server Brian was amazing, and definitely recommend the right dishes for us to order. Everything from the starters of a golden beet salad & charcuterie, to the entrees of homemade pizza and homemade pasta were all delicious!!! We will definitely be back for sure!!

This restaurant has been recommended to me by a friend who used to work at Bon Appetit. The pasta is amazing! It's all homemade and hand cut. I asked a question about the cut of the pasta and the owner came out and gave a very patient description, as well as a description of the very particular ingredients used in their Pizza that makes it true to the Naples region of Italy. Exceptional service and exquisite food. The inside of the restaurant is a bit dark but outside is rather although a bit quirky which is a nice change in Naples!

By far the best Italian restaurant in town. Everything I've had has been truly delicious.. They pride themselves on being authentic Italian, not Americanized Italian, and I'm more than okay with that!

Went to Mino about 4 years ago with friends and order a couple of pizzas only to find out they don't cut their pizza. All four of us equipped with a dull knife began to placing our hands on the pizzas trying to get our piece of the pie. Was quite frustrating.Fast forward to Jan 2024. Thought let’s give it a second go, thinking if they still don't cut the pizza no problem I’ll bring our pizza cutter. Waitress came indicated they still don't cut the pizza because that is the Italian way of eating pizza. No problem I said I brought a pizza cutter. Within 10 mins the owner confronts our table, mind you we didn't ask for him to come to our table. He begins to school us on why they DON'T cut the pizza. He said do your research. I said to him no problem we just prefer to have cut pizza. We indicated we were in Italy a few times and loved the pizza but don't remember them not cutting the pizza. Owner said well I'm Italian maybe even said he is from Italy. I said I'm Italian too! Then he condescendingly began to speak to me in Italian, just to humiliate me in front of the other customers. I said I don't speak Italian. That is when this ITALIAN got upset. I said I'm done here. All this over pizza cutting. I got up; he said pay the bill for the two sips we took out of the beers. I said please just be quiet, he said this is my restaurant and I'll say anything I want, or something like that. I said no problem we are leaving. He said go somewhere else to eat, he said there are plenty of other places to eat in Naples. Then he said this all is on a surveillance camera. All this because we wanted our pizza cut into slices. All I can say is, I'll tell two people, then they will tell two people and on and on. What a classy owner telling us to go F yourselves! If you don’t believe me just read all the other rude comments. This is his response to my son's review,Response from the owner 4 hours agoSORRY MORON, but first of all you didn’t speak to me…#2we are an authentic Italian restaurant and we don’t cut the pizzas like they do in Italy. #3 Do your parents still spoon feed you, since you were unable to cut your pizza. #4 Do you actually think I would want you back? Karens are not welcome here…Try and do research before you go out…you won’t be kicked out and embarrass yourself anymore in front of my laughing customers that appreciate what we do. GFYS!.

We went to this restaurant thinking of a lovely evening, with mom and dad and it was not , first we asked for 2 pizzas, and asked if we could get them cut? They said no and argued with us then we said it’s fine “ we have our own pizza cutter, then the waitress said, “ not allowed?” And then the owner came out to confront us about it argued and asked us to leave,ALL BECAUSE WE WANTED OUR Pizza CUT?Wow never coming back soIt’s no wonder why the restaurant was 1/3rd full and went to La Trattoria and the place was packed
