After being open for over 30 plus years , this place is now close for Good. Job well done and have a happy retirement John Franco!

Ristorante Ciao never disappoints. Another fantastic experience. From the hostess to our server, Josh, to the wonderful food. This is a hidden gem we found by accident a few years ago which quickly became one of our favorite places. Josh selected a delicious bottle of wine, Nebbiolo D'Alba for the two of us to share. Fantastic selection! For our starters, I had the Tucson Roasted Beet Salad and the hubby had the Italian Wedding soup. The salad was delicious and the soup is my husband's favorite. I had the short ribs which were outstanding. So tender and flavorful. My husband had the ravioli, delicious! With no room for dessert, I had a cappuccino and hubby had another glass of wine to end the evening. We absolutely lo I place.

First time here ... Magnificent Meal ..... so Sorry to hear that they are closing after 35 yrs in Service. Looking to return before the Final Days .... Calamari app was out of this world not the usual crunchy fried mess.... meat was delicate soft not chewy rubber .... the accompanying cheese sauce with capers was delicious. The Osso Bucco was Excellent Tender as good be ... the the bone marrow and gravy was Superb! Great Crunchy warm Bread to soak all the sauces..... Homemade Deserts Will be GREATLY MISSED IN THE COMMUNITY! Best of Life

The managing partner Carol Rosen makes sure every customer has the best dining experience. She and her staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Can’t ask for a more authentic Italian meal cooked by a REAL Italian award winning chef.Makes the pretenders on 5th Avenue pale in comparison!I have eaten at almost every Naples Fl. 5th Avenue restaurant and for value and culinary experience Ciao has no competition. The location one block off 5th Avenue on 4th Avenue is not a problem. You are 1 minute from the main crowded drag. Actually, it is a pleasure not to fight the crowds on the sidewalk to get to dinner. With a parking lot 500 feet away ease of finding a space is never an issue.Sadly, Ciao, after 35 years is closing on May 9th. The Chef and Mrs. Rosen are hanging up their aprons to retire. I will miss the great food and charming atmosphere of Ciao.I’m a frequent guest at Ciao and will continue to eat there once or twice a week right to the end.A legendary restaurant in my humble opinion.

This was the first time I had dinner at Ristorante Ciao. So their closing in May will be our loss...and Naples' loss, too. I'm still one of those who is a die hard “eat outside only” persons. And...I'm always thrilled when a restaurant still gives you that choice. Dinner began with an introduction by our waiter, Vladimir, who took our drink order and clearly and politely explained the evening's specials. I went with the Snapper, prepared ever so gently with an EVOO sauté which included perfectly done potatoes, green beans, cauliflower and zucchini. My dining companion and myself both started the meal with a perfectly dressed Caesar Salad. She had the Veal Stuffed Ravioli as her main course. She raved about her choice. Dinner ended with Espresso and House Made Biscotti. So...having been remiss and not trying Ristorante Ciao sooner...I am now giving you the opportunity to call for a reservation before they close FOREVER in May. So...GO THERE (soon.)

Terrific location as well as great food. We were informed their lease was raised 60%, and they are going out of business as of early May. What a shame for these fine folks working here.

One of our favorite authentic Italian restaurants in Naples. Chef Gianfranco is amazing!! We recently learned they will be closing and we are so sad that we will never experience his Italian culinary expertise again. We have been blessed by his cooking for over 30 years. Best of luck to all those at this remarkable establishment. Ciao!

We are very saddened to learn that our favorite restaurant is closing it's doors. We have celebrated many an occasion and date night and have ALWAYS been so very pleased. The chef NEVER DISAPPOINTS and we can say the same with the wonderful, friendly, warm and professional staff. We are grateful to have been welcomed in such a fine restaurant and will miss everyone so very dearly. God Bless everyone. Patricia & Frank Toner

I would have given the food a “5” however my veal chop, though flavorful was on the fatty side. Julian, our waiter did a fantastic job and the Chef even came out and prepared my wife's special dessert table side. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful food and service. The Short Ribs and Osso Buco were exceptional. Sitting outside on the sidewalk on 3rd Ave was quieter than you would think. Hope to go back soon to try some other items.

Fine dining. Great atmosphere.

One of Naples best Italian restaurants. The ambiance is more like a Wisconsin Supper Club rather than what you expect to see in downtown Naples, but everything on the menu is excellent! It was a little noisy the day we were there because there was a large group sitting next to us, but that's something that just happens sometimes no matter where it is. Service was great too!

This restaurant is a hidden gem off 5th Ave in Naples, which we tried for the first time. The food is old n new world italian. The owner,Gianfranco, is also chef n has been in that restaurant at least 30+years. The ambiance is a personal statement n quite charming. The food is prepared to distinction , not one of the 9 if us had a bad meal. Make reservations because this restaurant is a local favorite and has regular foodies coming back for more!
