Had a higher level of expectation for outdoor seating. Waitstaff had limited knowledge of menu however service was fairly prompt. Overall a pleasant setting. Quality of food very good. Highlights of our group were the Red Snapper, crab cake and Butternut squash soup.

The Catch of the Pelican has a lovely dining room. When we entered we were seated at a table the directly face the setting sun. I could not see the faces of the two people sitting opposite of me. We spoke to the waiter. He explained the shades on the window where the sun was coming in were broke. Thr restaurant was 1/5 full. We asked to change tables. The manager said all tables were spoken for. We asked if we could move to a table assigned to a later reservation, by that time we would be finished and the sun would have set. He replied sorry, no. Will never go back. I had a blinding headache. Never could pick my head up.

My son was so looking forward to the $95. rib eye, thinking it would be excellent for the price. He was extremely disappointed. He compared it to an average $40 rib eye. The filet was excellent and did not disappoint.

I'm a New Yorker who has had plenty of Michelin meals. This was delicious. Fresh seafood, not overly worked/prepared, allowing the sea bass, for instance, to speak for itself. Service was outstanding for our party of 7. One my family members said it was the best meal they've ever had :)

My son, Paul, and I had brunch there today. Everything from start to finish was on point. The beignets were excellent, the blue crab omelette was delicious, and the lobster and egg dish my son had was perfection. However, as excellent as the food was, our servers totally made our experience! Hannah is an absolute sweetheart, and she anticipated our needs before we knew we needed them, which is the highest compliment I can possibly give! Leslie, who I am happy to say is our new friend, is a gem. He brought the Jamaican warmth to us, and totally elevated our experience! Both Paul and I look forward to our next visit, because it could not have been any better. Thank you so much???

We went there specifically for the Bloody Mary bar. Had seen pictures showing what was included with this and it showed a lobster roll, shrimp, some meat pieces, olives, etc., but when you actually are introduced to the BM bar, all those items are not included or they cannot fit on a skewer. That is not explained on their advertisement. If you can't fit it on your skewer, you don't get it and there was no lobster roll offered as one of the accompaniments. According to the waiter, the BM bar had to be purchased with a lunch item. We were under the impression that we could order just the BM bar but that's not the case. My husband ordered unlimited BM bar so he was able to go up more than once and get what he wanted. I ordered the egg on hash and the hash is made of all potatoes. It tasted ok but it's not worth the purchase. Only potatoes on a hash??? I've never experienced that before. I saw someone ordered the actual lobster roll and fries and that looked terrific but I was stuffed after eating a dish of potatoes. I think the BM bar is a great take in if they offer everything that is advertised. I would still recommend this place because the ambience is nice and the food looked good just stay away from the hash. I would check out the BM bar prior to purchasing it. It may not be worth it.

Essentially a hotel lobby restaurant, and it’s not easy to find. The fish was good, just not great. Everything is a La crate. I think there are probably better options in town.

Went for Valentine’s Day as we wanted to something different than the usual 5th Ave stuff. I was worried a bit on the lack of people in the restaurant when we arrived at 6pm. However from the host, waiter and staff, they were all impressive and professional. We brought our own special wine and it was a very reasonable $30 corkage. The food was incredible and cooked perfectly. We had the tuna tartare, salmon and risotto and a lobster ravioli. Then ended dinner with a unique fusion of key lime pie that was also a crème brûlée. Well worth a nice dinner in a place that not many go to. I would recommend you valet at the Naples Grande (free with dinner) and walk out by the pool to the restaurant and enjoy a sunset in a beautiful restaurant.
