Terrible service! Took 15 min to get utensils for our appetizer and had to ask twice for just a water refill. Overall time from main course order to delivery was just under 1 hour! Will not return! Did not appear to be overwhelmed with guests at the time of our visit.

We made reservations for outside over a month in advance so people who flew in for meetings conference could have a moment outside enjoying by the water. They never got that opportunity thanks to the help of the Wharf Tavern giving table meant for us to two people which tables were put together with right amount of seats showing meant for us. We called at least several times that day/afternoon to make sure table would be ready for us. They made us look bad. We all had to sit inside instead of what we reserved of outside table over a month before. It was too late to go other places. Talked to owner later and owner showed didn't care. Wharf Tavern has definitely been losing major business from us and others. If we could give Wharf Tavern zero stars/rating we would.

A great stop for lunch. Great location, great local food. You can’t go wrong. Small patio out front is dog friendly, which is a plus.

We wanted to celebrate the closing of our home. What a better way to celebrate then with lobster. This was a mistake; we sat for over 49 minutes until of appetizers came out and another 30 minutes more for the main course. By the time the main course arrived we had lost our appetite and just wanted to leave. Expansive and maybe we will try again. But not sure .

Beats a lot of restaurants me and my fiancé go to. We always have bad luck when we try knew places. And this place was not disappointing. Great food, fresh and cozy/relaxing atmosphere. Not to loud or crowded. Decent service.

We have been dining at the Wharf Tavern for years and it is consistently very good. Fresh seafood and great service. The owner and his family work side-by-side with their employees. We are never disappointed. My favorite is the lemon sole but of course the lobster dishes, and everything else is delicious. We usually eat at the bar but the dining room is spacious and Outdoor seating is available as well. We highly recommend

Nice tavern feel with the wood panelling on floor, walls and ceiling. A little noisy with the low ceilings. Good food. The lobster was delicious and not too expensive.
