I have a 1999 Kawasaki Drifter 1500 (the one that looks like an old Indian). I recently put on a TripTrike.com "outrigger" kit so that it rides like a trike. When one does that, the low-speed handling turns to crap, and at 80 years old, I don't need any more crap in my life! I was in the trike business myself for about 6 years and knew that a 4-6 degree rake on the front wheel was what was needed. From my time in the business, I knew of a specialty house in the Chicago area that might have one. They would build me one and I ordered one built for my bike. Kawasaki won't work on a bike that old, and that kind of mechanical work is not my cheese. The local Kawasaki dealer Service Dept recommended Venom and I went down to check them out. I liked what I saw and made an appointment. I dropped it off in the morning and they called me in the mid-afternoon that it was done, and the cost was the 3 hours and exactly what they estimated it to be. I asked them to keep the bike and hook up some new taillights I installed which they did the next day, only charging me one hour labor to do so (a job that would have taken me one day instead of one hour!). I don't know what may have been going on 5 or 10 years ago that would have caused the negative reviews posted here, but my experience tells me that it is not going on now. I'm most pleased with the work and the costs and will be having them install my security strobe lights and HD front/rear cameras for me next. Bob W. Hudson

I would not tell my worst enemy to go here. This place is nothing but a chop shop. They take your perfectly good parts off and replace them with old parts, thinking you wouldn't notice.

So disappointed !!!!!!!!!Absolutely zero stars!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!! I took my classic 1974 Harley Davidson right side shift IRONHEAD 1000cc to Venom chop shop choppers and cycle works .....Cons!!!! I brought my 1974 Harley davidson 1000cc to venom on 9/8/20 for new handlebars , battery , front tire , clutch and to see if they could get my Exhaust clamps on my pipes on my bike with a $500.00 deposit for the parts he says that should cover the parts easy ok that was 9/8/20 weeks go by i don't hear a thing i go their and nothings been done they tell me oh yeah with covid parts are delayed.... and that they couldn't put my exhaust on my bike i needed a new one i said ok go ahead and do the exhaust thanks talk to you soon they say ok brother! Couple more weeks go by......nothing! I call same scam waiting on parts brother but this time my risers don't fit i need new ones i said Ok.....now its been 3 months!!!!! And i get a call hes says bikes ready to rock n roll!! I said ok cool how much? he says $841.19 is your balance i said ok i need a couple of days to get the money up he said ok after all who knew it would be a 3 month screw job!!!!!!! So now i get the money 3 days later call them up said got the money im coming for the bike ok.......i show up and pay the 841 go to my bike and my seat isn't even bolted down! So they tighten it thanks i said started my bike and pulled out of venom instantly throttle comes of the bars they broke my original kill switch then glued it back together and put it back on my bike! So i pull over in the gas station right next door! He comes over pushes my bike back to the shop puts on throttle off an old 66 he said i said thanks i took off bike broke down wouldn't run worth a crap so i looked at the motor its leaking burnt milky a** oil!! My bike ran perfect when i brought it their! Now it doesn't run at all!!! Si i finally get it home and i call venom they say what Issue do you see? like really???? Im not stupid i know my motorcycle!!! They send out a flatbed to my house to get it. he shows up i bring the bike to the flatbed, mine you it was running right before the flatbed guy put it on the flatbed my bike was leaking from the casing! so flatbed leaves with the bike they take it to venom i show up to venom the bike is already off the truck and outside the shop he comes out starts the bike gas goes everywhere!!!!! I called bull immediately!!!!!! So they told me my problem is the carb b******* the problem is you chopped my bike stole my stuff the dead give away is the fact that the vin on my bike now comes back to a Chrysler not my harley!!!!! He says let me make it right let me earn your trust no way jerry!!! You guys know exactly what you did btw did i mention venom also gave me an affidavit stating that they checked the bike vinned it and everything so i could register it now i know why.. my vin has been altered i also have all the proof i need pictures videos and original numbers! Bet you weren't counting on that wheres my motor!!!!! 1300.00 dollars later piece of crap motorcycle non matching paperwork?????????? Chop shop for sure!!!!! Been onto you SNAKES the whole time!!!!! Stay away from this place if you want to keep your bike !!!!!!!!! Trust???? Enjoy it while your still getting away with it!!!!!!Services: Oil change, Tires, Brake service & repair, Battery

Never have I been so poorly treated by a business owner and his staff. Had my 2003 Honda VTX 1300 professionally transported to this shop. Tank flush, carb clean. 3 large dents in tank. Inferred I was a liar and the transporter could have done it. Lady riders beware, guys, too. Never again. Am pursuing other avenues besides public notification?

Minh is great. Jeffrey the mechanic who worked there told me he had stolen a pile of parts from the shop and blown the engine on customer's motorcycles. He also blew up my diesel dodge ram's engine and has crashed motorcycles that weren't his from doing wheelies.
