I haven't been here in a while and considering the reviews I thought I'd try it. The menu makes the hamburger sound pretty good.. even though everybody has a hamburger on the menu. 1/3 of a pound of top sirloin lettuce tomato onion (optional cheese and bacon). I went for the option. Burger came with fries. The owner assured me it was the best burger around. Of course...They all say that. When it arrived I was a little surprised at how huge it was. I opened it up put a little mayonnaise on it, and had at it. There was lots of lean bacon. Perfect. I don't think I took a breath for the 10 minutes it took me to inhale that burger! When I got done with it, I wanted another one. I know what you're thinking.. who is this nut raving about a hamburger? I'm telling you it was a memorable experience! The table next to me ordered A Reuben, and the Friday only shrimp scampi with crab meat. Both looked fantastic! The server was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable and great. The owner came around to the tables to make sure everything was right. Restaurant was spotless with a busser moving quickly to clear tables. I gotta go to this place more often! (I think maybe tomorrow...?) A solid five stars here.

Great food, huge portions with wonderful wait staff too! I had the Country Fred Steak w/mashed potatoes and white sausage gravy and a cup of lentil soup & Hubby had the Slovaki Chicken skewers with a Greek salad and French fries. We both had coffee (FREE REFILLS!). No room for dessert, but we will be going back at another time to try something else!

I was very disappointed I found this place and was addicted to delivery and eating in for lunch and dinner but went for breakfast and it was another world our waitress was the worst it was all about the local people and regulars we were treated like we didn’t belong she was to busy bringing them coffee and making a fun time with them as we waited for our water and then had to wait on lemon and she threw our straw at us then our meal came eggs were tuning off my plate for over medium then we waited for ketchup and waited and waited She also was in a hurry to get our bill to us and out of there i asked for a container and she never came back so I asked someone eles I was disappointed in The service and my eggs I guess the morning is for regular customers I will never go back for breakfast

I recently ate here with a friend. I have been here many times before but this time had been awful. I’ve always ordered the same thing, a cheese omelette, which they had used cheese spread from a jar, instead of the usual shredded cheddar. When I expressed my disappointment of the food to the waitress she completely made it noticeable to customers that I was not satisfied. She continued to also state to her coworkers my disappointment for the food which eventually led to many of the patrons and staff blankly staring at us, making us feel understandably uncomfortable. I had politely asked if there had been a change in ingredients or possibly a new chef. She stated in a hostile tone that they have been making the omelettes the same way for the last 19 years that she’s worked there. Was a family favorite but now will not return because of the waitresses hostile attitude.

I went to this "diner" on Friday with a friend who had frequented it many times and raved about the food. We both ordered the omlettes and were surprised when the waitress put our plates down. These so-called omlettes were flatter than a pancake and had cheese spread in the middle. The waitress saw us looking at what was in them and said "what's wrong" very loudly so that other customers looked over at us. Then she told us that that's how they always make omlettes here(even though my friend disagreed). She said "you're thinking about the rolled ones. (using her hands to show a rolling method)we don't make them like that here."She then went around to different tables and staff pointing out what we had said so that they all looked at us making us feel uncomfortable. I will NEVER step foot in their establishment again!

While the waitress was wonderful, $15 for a modest sandwich is rather pricey. Adding the credit card fee to your tab is in poor taste. There are way too many great restaurants that don't do that. I don't patronize any merchant that adds a credit card fee--had I know that when I entered, I would not have dined there. I also noticed the breakfast menu prices are quite a bit higher than Big Mike's on 19 which serves exceptional food--you get 2 eggs, 2 meats, 2 slices of toast & your choice of potatoes for $7.99.
