As much as I love Sam's Club, this particular club has given me some of the worst customer service I have ever received. On two different occasions, I have gotten curbside order pickup and have waited HOURS for my order although it was supposed to be ready at a specific time. The first time this happened I understood because the store claimed to be short staffed, but then I had arrived at the store and had to wait over an hour for my order to be ready, although it had already said in the app that my order was ready. The second time this happened, I had made my order two days prior and the day that my order was supposed to be ready, the time for pickup was between 4PM-5PM. I left my house at 4 because I am 30 minutes away and then while I was on the way it said my order was ready. I had called to make sure it was okay that I was still driving and they said that my order actually wasn't ready and they were really backed up because it was raining outside and they were not able to bring orders out. They then called me back and said my order was ready and to park in the spot and check in the app. 30 minutes goes by and I kept trying to call the store and there was no response in that department several times. I then went inside and spoke to customer service, who radioed over to the order pickup, who then was very rude and just got my name and walked away. I then waited another 20 minutes and my cart was brought over to me again with no conversation just dropping it off to me and walking away. I was not even given the option to have help out to my car or actually have it put in my car at the curbside pickup. The order that was supposed to be ready by 4PM-5PM I did not get until 7PM. When I tried to mention my experience to customer service, I was just told to call the complaint line. It is safe to say I will not be using order pickup at this location again.

I have lived in New Port Richey for 25 years. In 1998 New Port Richey was a peaceful small town. Throughout the years as more people have moved here so have impatience and rudeness. Be aware of this before you go to this store. Try to go during non-peak hours to avoid long lines. Customer service is good. Sometimes they are short-staffed as some people do not want to work anymore. Be careful in the parking lot. People drive like bats out of hell. They will stop for a shopping cart yet not for people. The gas prices are lower than at other places. Go during non-peak hours to avoid rude people and long lines.

The workers are sooo rude.one time I was at sams getting my weekly groceries and i forgot my card at home and I asked my husband to to send my a picture of the card. I would have understood if they said no and spoke to me nicely but they were SOO rude and she told us spoke to is with disgust. I would recommend for u to go to a Walmart instead because they are extremely rude.

Total Disregard for customer service. Management needs a complete overhaul and/or training. When curbside pick up service is running almost 2 hours behind customers should be called and advised. “Manager” I spoke to seemed clueless & took zero responsibility. It is the reason I paid extra for the plus service, so that pick up would be included and not an extra fee. The first day I tried to use it and my order was not ready— in fact forty mins after the time it was to be ready and it still had not been pulled I was told. I waited 30 mins in the designated area and not one associate thought to let customers know that their orders were not ready, and would not be ready for some time. I canceled my order and my plus membership that I added on. A simple phone call would have been sufficient to let customers know not to arrive at the store due to the delays. If you are running late or short staffed just say so, just common courtesy.

I was here today and the shipping experience was insane but that's not Sam's fault. but after braving the store I finally made it back to my van, only to find a dead battery. my parking spot neighbor couldn't help because the cables wouldn't reach so he recommended the tire shop. A very nice employee was able to give me a jump and he was so nice about it. I didn't get his name but if he sees this, Thank you so much!!

Sam's is a very busy store but I love clicking my items on my phone, paying for them and out the door I go! And love going about 7 pm. on Saturdays hardly anyone around. Or at the gas pumps last Saturday I drove right up to the pump no waiting. Keep doing what your doing your great!!

We joined in December 2021 for the gas prices which are so low! But the lines to the pumps can be frustrating. We've been several times since we joined. We had to wait in long lines for gas every time. When we got to 20 minutes, we left if we didn't get to the pump or really close. It's not worth it. Time IS money! Inside, we walked around after getting our membership cards in late December. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store was clean and bright. We didn't buy anything, but prices looked good. We will return to buy when we return to New Port Richey, about a 30 minute drive from home with Snowbird traffic! For now, once was enough.

I've moved to shopping online with Sams...removed all my pain points...crazy parking lot and checkout circus. I have reoccurring orders ie coffee...enjoy free shipping and generally delivers next day. It's a great way to to contribute to food banks...dry goods in bulk without the time and chore of hauling boxes in and out at drop off. Gift cards can be ordered online as well, my go to for many gifts as they can be purchased at a discount. Perfect for the holidays or inventory for upcoming birthdays. Makes it easy to have turnkey presents readily available without the hassle. Overall, very competitive pricing if they carry what you are looking for.

I'd give it none for the ignorance received from the man that works there, I realize it's still stressful times but you DON'T allow people whose gas cover is on the other side you yell at them if they pull up turn vehicle around to pump on proper side. I WILL NEVER COME BACK or renew mine or the 3 other memberships I pay for

This review is for the Optical Department. Today I went to see the eye doctor and from trying to check in was a disaster and they dont call you to remind you of the appointment nor they let you know if you are covered or not until you see the doctor and give you a surprise that tells you since you are out of network you have to pay over $100 dollars for just the eye exam ??? really what a rip off !!! I have been coming here for quite sometime and was never charged that before until today and then you have to wait to get check out for a long time because the staff there either you are been ignored or they pretend to be on the phone very upsetting and unprofessionals you have working there. I will never ever go there again totally bunch of ripoffs there no communications at all, have I known ahead that this was outside my network I would have not gone there and wasted 2 hours of my time in that horrible place.

Sam's needs a better system at the food counter. Stood at a register for 10 mins with our being acknowledged. Then the cashier rings up another customer before me. I don't mind waiting in line but shouldn't it be first come first served. And if I'm in the wrong line wouldn't it be helpful to let me know I'm on the wrong place? Super disappointed
