The food was so good, I have been looking for a Puerto Rican restaurant since I moved here in June and I found this gem. I ordered the Steak Jibahito with arroz blanco and red beans, alcapuria, empanada de carne, tembleque and arroz con duece - everything was perfect - I felt like I was on the island. We took it to go but it's really cute inside to eat and the gentleman with the pretty eyes, he was super nice. I recommend this 10x over, truly some of the best Puerto Rican food I have ever tried...

On my way to Salsabor from Weeki Wachee (30 minute drive) as I write this because the food is just that bomb! They pretty much have every single dish I ever had growing up Puerto Rican. My first time I ordered the octopus salad which was so tender and full of flavor. The portions are wonderful, plenty of food for the price I paid. The alcapurrias are phenomenal; so crunchy, and meaty and so FULL of flavor! Totally recommend this place for authentic Puerto Rican food. Every restaurant has its off days...if you've been here and have not had a 5-star experience, I suggest giving them another try.

Poor quality food - tasted like a teenager trying to cook authentic Latino food. We were told that they were out of certain things on the menu. Food ordered took too long to be brought to the table. The meat too salty, beans were cold, potatoes hard uncooked, bread stale, yuca too soggy - very tasteless! Not a lot of food on our plates for the price! At the end of the meal when we asked for the check - there was a cockroach on the wall near our table - my husband had to kill with a napkin! Frickin Gross!!! He said something to the waitress who played stupid. The only good thing about the restaurant - great decorations and tostones - never ever again no thank you!

I give this restaurant a one star. The service was absolutely horrible!!! We were greeted by a nice gentleman that sat us down and took out order. After that, it went down hill. Our food took what seemed hours to cook and there was only but one table there. Our waitress never came to our table because she didn't speak English. Ummm hello I am a Spanish speaking woman!! Just because I look white dose not mean I do not speak Spanish. Don't get me started on the bill. They were charging us for 2 extra meals we did not have!! All I gotta say is, get it together man!! Oh I forgot to tell you, mid way through my meal I ask for a refill on my water, they ran out of ice!! WHAT!! Smh . As I was leaving people were wali g I with bags of ice smh I won't be back!!

Went to this place yesterday. The food was ok. My wife order arañitas but they were dry. The shrimp was missing flavor. I order empanadas de carne (beef empanadas) and they were drenched in cooking oil on the inside. The meat was flavorless. At the time to pay the ticket I gave my credit card to the attendant and she brought the tablet for me to sign at the table. When I asked where was my credit card, she seemed irate and began to explain with attitude the procedure of how their system worked. Needless to say, won't be returning here.
Great food! The service was slow, didn't get our beverages until the food came out, but the food was quite excellent!

I went to this restaurant with my family from out of town I ordered to go food and sadly I was very disappointed when I open my food at the house they were baby cockroaches in my salad it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen when I called them and complained about the situation it sounds like they cursed me out in Spanish and hung up I would never recommend this place to anybody
