I got the chicken Philly , first of all the sandwich was stacked loaded full of, very good and delicious the owner was there and chatting with me and was a very nice guy and it was nice to eat good food and chat .

I ordered 1 cheesesteak with extra meat and 10 boneless wings. I received a sandwich that had meat burnt to a crisp to where it was brittle. The wings were like biting into a turtle shell. I wrote a note to the manager and they don't respond to customers troubles. Once you give them the money it doesn't matter to them anymore!!! The food is very poor!!!! Regards, Vince Tumolo

Haven’t gotten around to reviewing and was thinking about this place and the service and food are so good I had too ! eat here as often as I eat out because it’s a good authentic Philly. best around here for sure !!
What happened to this place? Haven't been there for a while and I new the prices would be higher but 11.50 for a cheesesteak is ridiculous. Now if it was good I probably wouldn't bother writing this review but although there was ample steak it was extremely salty. Cheese was virtually non-existent and the roll was soggy. I also ordered the steak bomb but the person who ate some of it said the same thing; salty and soggy. They said it was a steak bummer. I don't know if they changed owners but I will not be returning.

Ordered 1/2 philly cheesesteak. Oh, we don't do 1/2 any more. OK sub and fries. Yikes $19.50 for a sandwich & fries? Outrageous prices. He should also toast the bread. Bread is soggy. Steak should be grilled longer. Previous owner did a better job.

People bitching about the price of a Philly cheesesteak obviously don't order too many Philly cheesesteaks. They're never a cheap sandwich, it's literally steak.The reason I only gave this place two stars, is the impression you get when you walk in. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind cockroaches infest this building. It looks like the owner doesn't even give it an effort to clean the kitchen and it's the first thing you see when you walk in. Fryer has not been cleaned in probably five years. Grease on the walls probably 10 years old. Truly disgusting condition, and I'm not even kidding. I've eaten in restaurants in Third World countries that have nicer looking kitchens.For that reason alone, I will never go back to that place ever again. It was truly that disgusting. That guy who posted those pictures, he's one hundred percent accurate. I couldn't believe it when I walked in there. When I first arrived I was the only one standing in the building, the owner or whoever that guy was was nowhere to be found so I picked over the counter at the floor. I did not have my phone on me so I could not take pictures but I could not believe it was actually going down at the place. It's like they must pay off health inspectors or something. If you go in there, check out the switch on the hood above the fryer, literally like 3/4 of an inch of grease just built up on it, so gross. Should be called "the best of filthadelphia"The guy was really friendly and I feel bad having to leave a review like this, but what a total disappointment when it comes to the condition of where your food is being made. He thanked me a lot when I picked up my sandwich and was leaving which I thought was kind of strange, like he's begging me to come back. Dude if you want people to come back to your place, you need to shut down for like a month, take all the equipment out of there and throw it in the dumpster, Hire a professional company to go in there and scrub every inch of that place, then buy new equipment and put it back in there and hire somebody to run your restaurant for you because you obviously don't care enough.

Ben is the best owner, and cheesteak maker!!! I love the gravy Fries and his cheesteaks, definitely reminds me of when I used to live near PA and got cheeseteaks there.Overall delicious food, fantastic service and this is definitely one of our favorite places to eat at :)
A friend shared a Facebook post promoting supporting this small business and we stopped by this afternoon for a Philly Cheesesteak & Fries. We chatted with Ben while he prepared our food and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The fries were fresh, thick and seasoned perfectly. I look forward to stopping by again in the near future. Highly recommend!
