Went there with a friend and had an amazing time made reservations for the tea room, I will go there again, every season is a new selection of teas. Decided to try this place out after passing by it for so long and so happy we didEveryone working there is super friendly and knowledgeable.The snickerdoodle tea was my favorite along with the cucumber and tomato sandwiches . The prices are also more than reasonable . I can’t recommend this place enough! We will be back !

Writing this as a man who enjoys plain Lipton/Tetley black tea and who's never imagined going to a "tea room."I went with my wife and 24-year-old daughter when she came to visit from "up north." We had an amazing time! It's definitely a quaint place, and it has a feminine appeal to it, for sure. Nonetheless, the service was fabulous, the tea options were eye-opening, and the food was delicious and plentiful!My daughter and I were concerned, beforehand, about the description of the "finger sandwiches," so - like idiots - we had a snack before we went for our appointed time. When the hostess brought over the 3-tiered tray of "finger sandwiches" and additional snacks/treats, we instantly regretted snacking beforehand.The food was ridiculously good, and we were STUFFED by the end.The shop is sweet, and the experience is well worth your time and money.This one is a definite "must do" here in DNPR.

Had a wonderful afternoon at this beautiful tea room. The experience was perfect to share with two young ladies, teaching them not only basic etiquette, but also some aspects of British culture.The tea room is lovely, with beautiful decor, a large, spotless restroom, and a strict no-cell policy. Service by Dawne, our tea hostess, was attentive, professional and engaging.The food is wonderful, served in true British High Tea style. There is a lovely and well-stocked gift shop on premises; we purchased some mementos of our day. We also purchased several teas to take home, some that we enjoyed with our tea experience and others that we simply wanted to try. The gift shop itself is worth a visit if you are looking for unique and reasonably priced gifts for a special occasion.We are still talking about the fun afternoon we enjoyed and can't wait to return.Vegetarian options: Cucumber sandwiches, tomato sandwiches, salad option

Looks like a cute tea room that I wish we could have experienced. We were hoping to have afternoon tea, but the ladies behind the counter were very rude and did not want to serve us.We were not welcomed when we walked in and actually walked back out thinking we entered through the wrong door. After re-entering, we found 2 older ladies in the back. I said that we would like to have tea and they informed us that reservations are required (although the sign out front said walk-ins welcome). The lady proceeded to say that we couldn't be served anyway because children under 4 are not allowed. I understand the policy but the delivery of the message was off-putting. We left with my well-behaved 4 year old son who got dressed up in a button down and was looking forward to having "a tea party" with his mom. Very disappointing.My advice, skip the tea and head to Rose's Bistro next door instead.Kid-friendliness: They are not shy about disliking kids, specifically boys.
