“fresh” guacamole that tasted and looked like it was straight out of those nasty pre-made packets you get at the store… I had one bite and couldn’t stomach anymore. Complete waste of money. My husband asked for white rice not Mexican and apparently they didn’t have it… however a recent review shows a plate with white

Collectively it's just too pricey for the experience. Also the picture of the bar in google photos is not the same as the actual restaurant. I find that misleading. They have 3 beer taps, bud light, dos XXs and I cant remember the third at our time of the visit. We spent $95.00 with tip for a meal we often order elsewhere. Our food order was Carnitas tacos and El pastor tacos (cup of beans and cup of rice with the 3 tacos) with queso and for we drinks we had one margarita and 2 pacifico beers in the bottle. The food came out fast and hot and was good. The bartender's service was 5 stars and she made an excellent margarita, was friendly and attentive. I was pulling for this place as we are locals but there are better options in the area worth the extra 5 minute drive to save about $15-$20 off the bill for the same experience with a better atmosphere. Sad it wasn't a good fit for us, purely on price (and the false picture advertising I guess).

Don't know how this place stays in business. There's never anybody here. The atmosphere is a bit weird- lots of pictures of Mexicans on the walls but nothing else mexicany looking about it. The rice has peas and carrots in it and a side of sour cream costs you $4.

Sad to write this because this place used to be really good. 7 years or so ago it was a very authentic Mexican restaurant with fresh, tasty, fairly priced food and live Mariachi music on occasion. It's gone downhill but every couple years I give it another chance hoping they improved but this time was the very last time. If you're craving the taste of old Mexico, DO NOT GO HERE. There's a Taco Bell a few doors down that is better, not exaggerating. We got a chicken quesadilla and sopa azteca (chicken soup), both were greasy and bland. No sign of anything fresh. No vegetables in the soup. The broth was spicy but not at all chicken-y, like a boxed broth laden with soggy tortilla strips and stringy cheese. The avocados were fresh and plentiful, that's the best I can say. 1 Soup and 1 quesadilla (no drinks) came to $30 which would have been fine if it was good. Not sure this place is even passing their health inspection. The great country of Mexico is hanging its head in shame.
