Wonderful customer service with very delicious food. I got the Southern Spicy and it uphold its name for sure. It was worth every bite. I chose with shrimp and poached egg for my dish. My friend got the citrus bowl with poached eggs. Her favorite part of the dish was the sweet potato. We came during brunch so the menu was shorter from the regular menu; however, we are looking forward to come back soon for lunch.

This place has a lot of potential. The staff was friendly, but a little unattentive (say hello, and goodbye to your customers, and thank them for coming) Atmosphere was great, but the seating needs to be arranged to accommodate more customers and give more privacy. The menu was good, but they need more options, like a veggie or impossible burger for both lunch and dinner. Honestly, they should not have the guests walk up to the counter to order and pay since the servers and register are only 3 ft away. That was annoying and confusing. Overall this place has the potential to be good if they work on the things I mentioned earlier and keep their menu not too expensive to outprice the locals.

Delicious vegan food. We sat outside and had the Avocado Sweet Potato Toast with poached eggs ($13) and Sunrise Bowl with poached eggs ($15) from the brunch menu. It was quite expensive for the small plate, but very tasty. Service was a bit slow, even though there were almost no other customers. When we sat down outside it was unclear at first that we had to go inside to order. We sat there for about 10 minutes until I went in to investigate and grab the menu. Strange that no one came to tell us this, even when a server walked by us to bring food to another table outside.

Yummy Vegan food!! More expensive than most places. Healthy and great flavors! Best tempeh I’ve tasted! Most everything is vegan but you can add some dead animal if you are that kind of person. The ambiance is clean and very nice. Parking lot. Walking distance from the ocean. Cute new age shop down the street. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms clean.

I took my boyfriend here as we are looking for new places as locals and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the mojo bowl and he had the j*** bowl, both were amazingly flavorful. You can taste the veggies are fresh and the chicken is also excellent quality. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous, somewhat quiet with music that relaxes you, and plenty of outdoor seating. We will be back for lunch and definitely for breakfast. This is a gem of New Smyrna. I adore that they have vegan options too as though we eat meat sometimes we eat vegan as well.Thank you ?

The other reviews got us to stop by and they were spot on. The food is tasty, beautiful and healthy. It was not very busy when we were there so the food came out fast. Funky decor and very comfortable. Love it.

Fantastic place! It is a small, condensed menu with a variety options that taste great, and that are also healthy. The staff is even better. The owner attended to us, and she was very helpful. We brought kids into the restaurant, and had an unfortunate run-in with someone else eating at the same time, who told us to "control [our] kids". The owner came over and asked what had happened and apologized, although she was never at fault. We really appreciated the kind service we received!

We had an amazing breakfast for takeout from Bird of Paradise! I loved their commitment to local/organic ingredients which is our mantra BUT that doesn't always mean well seasoned and flavorful...but here IT DID!! We had the Açaí smoothie (very good, not over sweet), the avocado sweet potato "toast" (MUST get with the perfectly poached eggs) and the cocoa waffles (maple Syrup & coconut cream, what?!. Everything was delicious...and I mean delicious! Can't wait to try some of their other dishes on another day! My only regret is we didn't go here sooner in our trip!

We arrived about 1/2 hour before closing on Memorial Day. New in town and looking for healthy options, we stumbled on the reviews for Bird of Paradise. The whole staff was super accommodating, friendly and the food was delicious! Smoothies were natural and not over sugared and my avocado toast with sweet potato was excellent. We got a couple of bowls and smoothies and everything came out perfect. They took great care of my family. If you’re ever in the area come here!
