I rarely review but want to let people know that in no way is this a 4.6 star restaurant. All eight of us in our party agree this is a 2 star restaurant. Maybe we were expecting too much because of the high rating. The prime rib is the same quality as an all you can eat buffet. The mahi mahi, shrimp and crab cake was less quality than what you find at a red lobster. The raw oysters were warm and inedible. The server was great unfortunately he's not able to compensate for the awful food.

We came in without reservations (party of 5) on a Friday night (8:00pm). The place was packed but a table became available within minutes. I've never had a bad meal here. This visit was no exception. However, our server could have been a bit more attentive. After getting our orders delivered, she was practically non-existent. Oh yes, she 1 did come by shortly after our meals were brought out. But from then on out we were on our own! We never got any requests to have our drinks (waters) refilled. The other thing was that the included fish chowder was very bland and I never saw any fish in it. On the other hand, the included salad was excellent! It came out on a cold plate right out of the refrigerator. This visit was just OK.

Great place to go for prime rib and seafood. Wide menu selection and cozy bar. I miss the soup/salad bar but Blackbeards is still a solid choice for a good meal. Family friendly and special needs accessible. Plenty of parking. Often a crowd.

Went Easter Sunday. Full menu including the early bird specials. Found the early birds to be a good value and the portions seem to be exactly the same as normal
