Yikes, not sure where to begin. First, the building is a charmingly quaint restaurant with an inviting, Old World feel. We were greeted quickly and got drinks and bread which was good. And then we waited and waited. The waitress made the antipasto which was a plate of lunch meat, some cheese, ritz crackers with marmalade and what seemed to be inedible garnish. After waiting more, we got a cold margarita pizza with 1/2 inch slices of cold, raw tomatoes and several whole basil leaves set on top of cheese that was not even fully cooked in the center. This was hands down the worst meal and service we have ever had. It is sad when the whole experience is so poor at a time when businesses and workers are struggling to survive. This restaurant needs a good manager or someone to take it by the reigns and make improvements. (By the way, this is the only review I've ever written.)

I am not a picky eater along with I understand it's Covid times. We sat down and we're immediately served with a large glass of wine and bread, olive oil and vinegar. The bread was good, we then ordered an antipasto salad. It was the most poorly made charcuterie board I have ever seen in my life. They basically put Dollar General ham lunch meat, canned olives, sour cream and onion ritz crackers and a "special" jam on a plate over wilted mixed greens. After the "antipasto" and a big glass of wine "on the house" we didn't see the waitress for a solid 30 minutes. She was sitting at the bar and the table behind us talking and laughing with other customers. When we finally got our margarita pizza, I wish I had a picture to show justice of how terribly made this pizza was. The outside of the pizza was warm with melted cheese and the middle of the pizza COLD. There was also the largest and thickest tomatoes pieces I have ever seen plopped on top of the cheese bread.... THEN we get our bill after telling her everything about this was terrible, she gives us a bill for $7 for one glass of wine. In other Words, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

Sat at the bar. The music was so loud that I could not hear my companion speaking. I'm not heard of hearing. Out came fresh bread with oil, vinegar, and herb dipping sauce. It was great! Ordered a pizza with extra cheese, garlic, and basil. The pizza was not cut all the way through. I had to ask for a knife to cut it myself (they gave me a butter knife) and I burned my hand on the pan while holding it to cut the pizza. While I was cutting it, the owner kept watching me and didn't offer any assistance. No staff walked by. My companion had to walk around the restaurant to find parmesan cheese. After two greasy bites of my hard earned labored prize, I gave up. I will not be back.

Tried to go here on Tuesday, March 23rd and it was closed. Called today Saturday March 27th and the phone was disconnected. Are they gone for good? Does anyone know? Always go here when in town.

I ordered a Caesar salad, it came warm and wilty. When I got my chicken parmigiana it was super big thick and soggy, as it's supposed to be thinner and crispy. It had no flavor and it was so much water underneath I could not enjoy my meal as I tried as much as I could.

One star is generous... I'm a local... NEVER again. Got the end of the head of lettuce in my salad. 2 tables got up and left while we waited 35 minutes for starter salad. Table next to us waited neay 25 minutes for their check. This place used to be good. So sad.

What the heck happened to this place. I've been coming since they opened, and they have really fallen apart.I have seen 3 tables leave for not being served. My side salad took a full 35 minutes, and the wait staff seems to have disappeared. And the caesar salad is... not good.

We visited NSB for the first time right before Christmas. What a lovely town filled with friendly folks, great restaurants, and lots to see and do. A new friend recommended that we try That's Amore and we were so happy that we did. Thank you livingthedreamnsb! We feasted on Eggplant Rollatini, Spaghetti and Meatballs and ...all were delicious. Our accompanying salads were crisp and fresh and the bread was to die for! We were treated to an amazing Chef Special when my daughter joined us later in the evening. We finished with a fabulous desert and enjoyed plentiful wine throughout. The service was excellent and, in fact, we were truly treated as if we were family. (As in...sent home with plenty of leftovers and extras for another meal). We all agreed that our meal at That's Amore was much better than the one we enjoyed at the other well-known and highly-rated Italian restaurant in town. If we ever return to NSF, That's Amore will be the first restaurant we visit!

All pizza is the same, right.... not at "That's Amore". Not your typical pizza. Excellent combination of ingredients. Stopped there on a Monday night at 6pm. Plenty of free parking behind the shuffle board courts. Plenty of room for inside or outdoor dining. Greeted when we walked in followed by attentive friendly service. A must try place if not just for the pizza. The wife and I are going back to try other menu items.PS The photo of the pizza doesn't do it justice.

Unfortunately our favorite little Italian restaurant is no longer a place we will revisit. We've loved That'sAmore for years and have had amazing meals and enjoyed he atmosphere. But last night, we had the most disgusting food, from the appetizers, something resembling a Cesar salad, and rubber chicken piccata and penne aka vodka that 100% came out of a jar. It was just terrible. Our waitress forgot anything we asked for and barely looked over 17. Music was coming from a boom box that was on for 5 minutes then back on again 15 minutes later. It was like that the entire time. It's a shame because the owner is wonderful. But the food has clearly changed and the atmosphere is dead. I hope our little restaurant makes a come back. Until it does we won't go back.

Ordered the chicken piccata after seeing a picture of it posted on Google. I ordered takeout, brought it back to my hotel, opened a bottle of wine and then opened the container of chicken. Words can even describe how disappointed and shocked I was at how it looked and tasted. There was absolutely no breading on the chicken breast. The lemon wine sauce was so tart and it was very watery. It was as if the chicken was steamed in lemon water. I am posting a picture of my entree AND posting a pic from the Google review. I have no idea why they didn't bread the chicken like they did in the Google review one. It was so bad.
