The cooking Oil seemed to taste a little old that was used for the fries. I don't think adding 4%to the bill if you use your credit card with the tip being suggested with anticipation of the credit card. I have started carrying Cash for just this reason.

I stopped in for a quick snack and was left underwhelmed and disappointed. I only got a half rack of ribs and was given a small cold end piece. Meat was room temp but bones were cold. They did offer to give me more, but I respectfully declined. No plans to return anytime soon.

I normally never post bad reviews for a local, especially one with so much potential, but this must be addressed. The last THREE times I’ve gone, two of which I’ve brought new friends and family who’ve never been, it has taken an HOUR to get our food which them came out either wrong, cold or upcooked. Someone please get a good manager in there to help this kitchen and definitely the wait staff or you will be another local business crying about going under because the community didn’t support you. Trust me, we want to and we will!!! We aren’t asking for gourmet here-just decent food served fresh and in a timely manner by a smiling server.

The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service was beyond amazing. The absolutely wonderful waitress was so kind and patient with my 42 year old brother who doesn't know how to read. She politely walked him through finding what he wanted to order with no hesitation. She even went as far as giving my other brother a special cup so he could take water with him. Bless her heart. I can't wait for her comedy special to come out as her crowd work was topnotch. She alone deserves a 10 star review.

Sat outside after work. Place is okay. I think their prices for what kinda place it is outrageous. $50 for one person for a lunch/dinner with corn fritter appetizer being high and they didnt give me 2 sides i just got a house salad and upcharged $4? And I had a we bitty sweet potato. They never even brought the bread until I asked.baby backs were decent, but that's all I had.

We had an amazing family meal at Woodyard Grill last Friday afternoon. Went in about 4pm with my kids ages 10 and 12. We started off with an appetizer of jalapeño poppers which came out quickly and nice and hot. 10 year old got the hot honey garlic boneless wings, which he loved. 12 year old got the fried fish sandwich which she loved as well. I got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Everything came out in perfect timing, was hot and cooked just right. My steak and mashed potatoes had plenty of gravy so I didn't have to ask for extra. Mac and cheese was obviously home made and delicious. The waitress was quick and attentive and gave my kids several refills on their lemonades and even a top off with a plastic lid to go right before we left. We got banana pudding to go and it was perfect way to end a delicious meal.Thank you Woodyard Grill for a great memory!

My experience with Woodyard BBQ has been consistently disappointing, to say the least. Despite vowing not to give them another chance, I occasionally find myself lured back in, only to regret it every time. It's baffling to me how they manage to stay in business given the subpar quality of their service and the unreasonably slow ticket times.If you know anything anything about barbecue, you know it's cooked for several hours overnight. When you arrive as a patron, the kitchen's job is to merely scoop the sides and plate the meat. I suppose if you order a burger or fried food some cooking is required, but my god, it should not take an hour!During my most recent visit, I placed my order at 11:45 a.m. and waited a staggering hour until my food was finally ready at 12:45 p.m. It's absurd to wait that long for food that was presumably already cooked and just needed to be packed into a to-go box. The ticket time was grossly disproportionate to the simplicity of the task at hand, leaving me frustrated and hungry. There were 5, FIVVVEEE tables is the restaurant! They were not busy, and if that's busy for Woodyard than they to reevaluate their operations.My order:- 1 full slab spare ribsCollardsBlack eyed peas- 1 sliced pork lunchCollardsCole slaw+ One side of cheese gritsOverall, Woodyard BBQ's consistently poor service and excessively slow ticket times make it clear why I should stick to my resolution of never doing business with them again. It's truly a mystery how they manage to retain customers with such incompetence in the kitchen and on the service floor. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of Woodyard BBQ.
